Good for semi-feral cat - protection from bite
An injured semi-feral cat took up residence in my yard. I got the cat neutered and got him some veterinary care. We have bonded a little bit but he has unpredictably scratched me and has tried to bite me in the past. With these gloves I feel confident petting and brushing the cat, who gets all kinds of plants matted up in his fur. But just now, out of nowhere, the cat bit me while I was brushing him. Luckily I had the glove on and I didn't feel a thing, although I think he mostly just bit the tip of the glove. None-the-less it seemed to hold up really well. I like that these gloves go up to elbow length.

Good Quality and Decent Protection
I work in a cat-only vet clinic and haven't had a cat bite through them yet. For the material, they have a good amount of mobility when in use! I am very happy so far with them even after a short period of time! I know that a cat will bite through them at some point but it won't be as bad of a bite as it could be. - Edited 9/26/21: These gloves have really proven their worth! Cats can bite through the gloves but they cushion the bite nicely and the wounds are considerably better than without the gloves! All of my coworkers love them and use them with most of the fractious cats that pass through.

Work great
These allowed me to pick up my African grey when I need to. He had bitten me four times and I was afraid to go near him but the glove is awesome. He still bites but I can barely feel it and it allows me to be able to move him if needed. These were a lifesaver for me!

Rough and tough
This material is thick! Definitely bite proof (I have a cat that likes to bite during grooming). Covers arms almost up to the shoulder. Overall a good buy.

Tough and durable
I got these for grooming my Chihuahuas. Yes, you read that right...Chihuahuas. The Cujos of the doggy set. When it comes time to have their nails trimmed they fight like tigers. I was losing a lot of blood.I put on the gloves and corralled the beasts, and the inevitable fight ensued. Miraculously, once they realized the gig was up, they just gave up and fully submitted. Now all I have to do is get the gloves out and my mini Cujo's turn into little lambs. The young one did try to bite his way through it but to no avail.I was once Bloody Mary, now I am the Beast Master.

Alien Fingers Only!
I ordered 3 pair of these for handling feral cats: one pair for each of the trailers in our cat rescue and one pair for my car when picking up strays on the road. These gloves have the strangest finger openings (either teeny or gaping) and long, very long, finger spaces. I feel that aliens from outer space might find them a good fit. By going through the 3 pairs, I was able to come up with one pair that will be usable, but even then they are going to be wanky. The only saving grace is that they go all the way up to my armpits, protecting my arms from claws and teeth. I definitely do not recommend these.

Great Feral Cat Gloves!
Had to wait a week for a feral fix appointment and had the cat in the bathroom. I bought these gloves to get him for the appointment and they worked like a charm. With the gloves on it took some work to learn to grab, but after a few practices grabs on a coke bottle I was ready to try for the cat. These gloves took both scratches and bites like a champ. Ifelt the pressure of the bites, but he didn't get through the gloves or break the skin. I didn't feel the scratches at all. I am so glad I went with these gloves and I will get plenty of use out of them while doing TNR.
