Buy charging block
Did the job. Worked well. you'll need to buy a charging block to hook it up properly. Does not come with one.

Don’t expect 4k quality
Works. A bit degraded picture, but I didn’t think it would be anyway. So met my overall expectations

Helped Solve a Connection Challenge
Am using this in conjunction with a separate HDMI to AV converter and a HDMI transmitter/receiver pair to connect a WIIM Ultra to an Onkyo receiver. The Onkyo is located in an equipment rack in an equipment closet and is connected to our whole house audio. The WIIM Ultra is in another room and is connected to a CD player and turntable. The WIIM does not have an HDMI out so I used the AV to HDMI converter to connect the WIIM to the HDMI transmitter using the WIIM AV out. I used a separate HDMI to AV converter to connect the HDMI receiver to the Onkyo via the CD AV input.

Does not work for connecting a Nintendo Wii, N64 and GameCube on a newer Samsung TV
I have a newer Samsung smart tv and this setup DID NOT WORK for my Nintendo Wii,N64 and GameCube. The picture quality on the Wii was really fuzzy and the other two it just wouldn't connect at all. I bought two sets at the time so both were tried and I know its not my devices because they work just fine on my other TV that has the AUX connections. I am rather disappointed that it doesn't work and both devices were returned.
