The Deceptively Easy Dessert Cookbook: Simple Recipes for Extraordinary No-Bake & Baked Sweets

There are minimal photos of the recipe items. Most photos are just for each chapter. The only recipe photos are for choc chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, key lime mousse pie cups (btw, try to find that recipe in the index. Its not in pies or puddings or key lime. Its under “L” Limes & Lime Juice, which is also where Creamy Mango Pudding is. Havent figured that one out), watermelon ice pops, molton lava cakes, strawberry cream pie, dark chocolate cream pie, & homemade caramels (8 not counting the pic for each chapter). There are 89 recipes with each taking 1-2 pages. Those on 2 pages definitely have space for a photo.The cover of the book is not glossy smooth. Its a flat matte finish that is sticky to the touch (it gives me a creepy feeling).Most important will be the review on recipes, coming soon.

This is a great book if you don't want to get complicated and have to buy all kinds of ingredients. I feel like beginner bakers will be inspired by this book because things turn out well and it helps build confidence. I'm a baker and have been baking my whole life and I LOVE books like this because why does baking a cookie have to be so complicated!

THIS BOOK HAS VERY FEW PICTURES. DEFINITELY NOT AS GOOD AS OTHER COOK BOOKS. ALSO THE PRINT IS VERY SMALL AND NOT SUITABLE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS WITH POOR EYESITE.

I got this for my 12 year old daughter who loves to bake. She has already made the lava cakes and the key lime mousse and both were delicious! I like that they are simple enough for her to do but not so hard that you wonder why you bought a cookbook for that. The ingredients are normal and we have many of them on ha d already.

If you want to cook good desserts, you must have this book. It's amazing, delicious, easy to follow and to find the ingredients. The cookies are the best. Thank you to teach us how to cook, and for sweeten our time at home! Congrats! Great job!

This is just a great little cookbook. The author's introduction makes one feel at ease to try any of her recipes. She has presented an easy to follow format, uses simple ingredients and the choice of recipes is wonderful!
