We went to Universal Studios and wanted to get our son a robe. We figured early evening would be the best time, when we were done with the rides, so that we didn't have to carry it around all day since it was seriously too hot outside to be wearing a robe over his clothes all day. By the time we went into the robe shop it was so crowded just with people waiting to TRY ON the robes, it would have been forever to get one. Dejectedly we left and told him we'd order one online because otherwise we'd be waiting forever and it was getting late. Well, that turned out to be in our favor. Listen, those robes looked great, but I'm telling you this robe is AWESOME. I daresay it's just as good as what we saw on people walking around the park. I saw plenty of costume Harry Potter robes online, but this is seriously like an actual robe that looks straight out of the film. It's not cheesy or shiny-costume material - it's a heavy, cool and dense fabric that billows when my son walks while wearing it. It has the wand pocket. It has a very beautiful lining along the opening and hood, and it definitely looks amazing. He is 4'9" and the Small adult size fits perfectly thanks to their height chart. We also ordered the scarf and tie.

I bought two robes from the Dan&Harry seller. One Griffyndor and one Hufflepuff. The Hufflepuff arrived on time and exactly as expected. The Griffyndor was shipped from Hong Kong, took two weeks longer than expected, and when it arrived the entire robe was damp like a cloth that had been rung out. There was no moisture in the shipping bag, or on any of the papers in the bag, only the robe was damp. This led me to believe that it was wet when it was inserted into the Harry Potter zipped bag. After hang drying it and checking to make sure there wasn't a smell from mildew it was fine. But it was disturbing to receive a wet robe. I took my kids to the Warner Bros. HARRY POTTER studio tour in London. The robes were great, until the Griffyndor robe's loop that buttoned it closed completely came out of the robe and it could no longer be buttoned. I have no idea how to fix the correctly, so I will have to pay extra to have that fixed by a seamstress. The Hufflepuff robe that was shipped amazon prime was wonderful. The Griffyndor robe shipped from Hong Kong was horrendous and would have been returned had it arrived in the expected time frame.

The robe is amazing!!!!!!!! I have a robe purchased when at Universal so it is the Official HP robe! I was a bit nervous to order, but I went for it and I couldn't be more pleased! It is of the same quality as the Universal robe! The fabric, weight, lining, details of buttons, wand pocket, lined hood, and styling look alike! This is a magical purchase for any HP fan!!

Excellent robe. I wanted to make a few comments in case people were considering this robe vs the US parks robe. I have the parks robe and we just got this one for my son.1) this robe is just a little bit thinner than the parks robe. But that may be a good thing considering the park is in Florida! You really can’t tell unless you touched the robes2) the patch is bigger than the parks. Not sure anyone cares but putting that out there.3) wand pocket placement. Probably the one thing that is most annoying compared to the parks robe. The wand pocket is closer to the front on this robe so it might poke you more. It’s actually relatively minor but I could see it being annoying to some. My son doesn’t seem to care lol.4) colors and clasp of robe are identicalOverall excellent for the price and of course free 2 day shipping. My mom got this for my son right before she died so it made it extra special for us.

My fiancé and I got these for a Hogwarts themed pub crawl in Mpls and lock-in at the science museum in October! Also for Halloween. We got dozens of compliments. The fabric is high quality and the wand pocket was perfect for the wands we got at our lock-in! My fiancé is a Gryffindor and in Hufflepuff. He's 5'11 195lbs and got size large. It was a little loose in the chest/tummy but perfect hung to his ankles and wrists. I'm 5'5 120lbs small chest. ordered size small, it fit my chest and arms well but hung a little short but it looked good!

The lining is not as depicted in the photos. I got the Ravenclaw robe, and the "blue" lining is midnight -- it might as well be black.I wasn't sure what size to get (M or L), so I went for M out of concern that a Large would brush the ground. That was a mistake. Get the size that's the same as a tee shirt that would be comfortably loose. If you have any doubt, go for the larger size.

Arrived super fast. I am 5'1 and weigh about 145lbs. The size medium length is perfect for me. The hem rests slightly above my feet so I don't have to worry about tripping or stepping on it but it isn't high enough that it shows my ankles. (No high-water robes for me!). The sleeves are nice and billowy just like the movie and the material isn't made cheaply. Its not insanely heavy but it is heavy enough that it'll keep us warm in the colder weather in October. The two down sides is that it is snug in the chest area like other's have mentioned but its not off putting. The other is that the shoulders are a bit short for me but this is a problem I face with many women's clothes since I apparently have more broad shoulders than the deemed average female.

I'm 5ft tall, around 140. This is the size medium. It went down to the floor and had more than enough room.I wish I had gotten a small but I am still ecstatic about the product. The quality of the robe is outstanding and the house details are spot on. The fabric is heavy so it was a little hot on a summer day but I would purchase this a million times over.

These robes are fantastic. They are a made from heavy black material and are partially lined and as such swirl and swish around in a suitably dramatic way.We have bought two gryffindor robes in XS and both fit quite different sized 7 and 9 year old girls because of their baggy style.They look exactly like the robes worn by the kids in the film.The badge is incredibly detailed and well secured.The robes appear well made and look fit for purpose as robust school uniform ready for years of wear by little witches and wizards!

First off, this is one of the best robes I have bought for cosplay, and I have a few. The material is weighty and comfortable, which is something you want in a robe, but it isn't too weighty that it makes you overheat a lot. I'm 5'5ft aka 167 centimeters and this comes perfectly close to my ankles, like just a little bit off my ankles. If you are between 5'5ft and 5'2ft I would recommend the Medium as it gives a little extra length, if you have a larger bust at 5'5ft I recommend a size higher and if you have a pixieish frame or are skinny at 5'2ft to 5'3ft I recommend the Small Adult size. Though in conclusion, amazing robe, well put together and perfect for my height! :)

I was hesitent about getting this because of the price tag, but I have to say it was worth it. When you see polyester you think it'll be low quality, but polyester veries in quality so much and this is very good quality fabric, which is comfortable and durable.I love the way the sleeves and hood hang loose to give it a nice flowing wizardy feel. The hood is nice and big. You can pull it right over your head and it still hangs loose to the sides. It looks very like the ones in the films.I love that it includes a wand pocket. I've collected some of the replica wands and they fit nicely in the pocket without causing discomfort. My only issue is that I feel like it was designed with men in mind and although the wand sits fine when the robe is worn by women, it is harder to take out of the pocket. I have a large cup size and feel like I'm practically feeling myself up getting it out of the pocket. If it was positioned a little more to the left it would be a lot easier. It's fine if you undo the robe before getting the wand out though.The robe also hangs nicely, even though I am larger-chested. I got the L one and it is a little snug, but still fine whilst wearing shirt, tie and cardigan underneath. It has two buttons accross the chest, one of which is decorative. An elastic loop connects to the other. It might have been nice if they didn't use elastic, but it's functional and looks fine.I also have to say that the yellow detailing is a nice shade. It looks a little bright in the picture, but it is much closer to the shades seen in the films. The house crest looks great too. I'm one proud Hufflepuff.I'm glad I decided to treat myself to my own Hogwarts robes. It makes me feel ready to get on the Hogwarts Express and start my magical education. I just wish they let people in their thirties start at Hogwarts and that pet owls were easier to care for.I don't think that anyone could feel like a muggle in these.

Bought this cloak for my daughter, and she loves it. It comes in a really nice box, and looks just like the ones from the movies. The material it is made from feels nice to the touch.Bought a size large for my daughter as she is tall, and it looks great. there is plenty of material and feels properly "flowy" i.e. its not tight nor feels small when being worn.My daughter plans to wear it as a graduation gown later in the year when she graduates from university.
