Wall Vent Under Cabinet Toe Kick Ducting Kit

Easy install and has been holding up well for past 6 months.

My register needed to go because there was a cabinet to be installed. This kit was needed. I let the contractor install this. I made sure he sealed the plate well so that the air would go through the duct and not behind the cabinet. Test it with the fan on and a piece of toilet paper to check for leaks if behind the cabinet if possible.

This was a great fix for rerouting the vent under our kids toy cabinets that we installed. We have a base under the cabinets made out of 2X4’s and the ducting does rub on the bottom drawer when you open the drawer. Other than that it was a perfect solution for rerouting the vent!

Yes we all know it is a bit pricey and we all try to do the Home Center version, but there was just no clean way to get it to work. I had to do some minor sheet metal to move a square wall vent up to the ceiling so I could relocated the vent in the 4-1/2" soffit. Initially I had the option of coming straight out, but was not sure I would like the look of the vent on my clean lines. So I actually had to use pieces from both versions and this company was absolutely great in working with me to make this work. Final design was using the 90 degree fitting to drop down above the kitchen counter. Then using the trim-less vent cover (cheaper plastic version) here on Amazon.

Flexible duct work almost identical size as vent hole. Almost impossible to get flexible tubing onto duct vent hole.

Amazing product. Very easy to install and takes the guess work out of what to buy. Wish the vent tube was longer and including a vent cover would make this the ultimate buy.
