Got this for my daughter to practice her chords. It functions well but just be aware it is only for practicing finger positions ... you don't actually play and you don't actually pick or strum the strings. Think of it as a sophisticated air guitar

Not so cool
I was a little disappointed with this. I didn’t understand that it makes no sound. They show on their site a guy “strumming” it. I got the 4 fret one and decided the 6 would be better so I had to order another one. It came with an Allen wrench but the furst one was missing it. Hopefully my son will enjoy working on some chords etc. kinda weird to know what they would sound like though. Oh well lesson learned

I love it! It's super convenient
I love it! It's super convenient. The only reason it lost a star is because the tuning is a joke. Whenever you tune a string it undoes the tuning of the previous string. So the tuning is impossible. But I bought it for practicing chord changes and don't really have to strum and it works well for that.

Bad strings, but good practice tool.
The concept is cool. The strings it comes with suck though. They are like strings you find on a child's ukelele from the dollar store. I suggest buying a new pair of REAL guitar strings and adding them for better sound. Great for traveling and practicing in areas where you cant bring a full sized guitar. As a chauffeur I kept it in my car to play in between jobs.

I am learning guitar.
Well, I made a good choice here. This is just right for giving me a chance to practice my fretboard in my spare time. So I carry it with me all the time. I imagine the chords in my mind. My fingers are limbering up (for a 60 year old). A quality product is what I hoped for and that is what I got.
