Nerf N-Strike Spectre Rev-5 Dart Blaster

This is a worthy successor to the Maverick, even with the reduced shot capacity. It has about the same range, even un-modded, and is just as accurate (some of the guys in my office are real sharpshooters with the Maverick and now I can hold my own snaking shots between monitors). I'm not a fan of the folding stock and that gets left shut in a desk drawer. The barrel extension looks cool, and the tube is wide enough that it doesn't seem to add any extra drag to shots, so sometimes I leave it on. Other that that, it also is a yawn. The basic gun itself, though, rocks. Cocking is smooth and jams nonexistent. You do have to be careful to push the whistlers in all the way or else the tips will drag on the mechanism and keep the barrel from advancing. My other gun is a Raider and with this one I really appreciate being able to chamber any sort of dart that gets shot at me, instead of having to pick through them for just the streamlines. Great gun, I highly recommend it!

We recently had our grandson's birthday party and he wanted nothing but "nerf" guns for his gifts. We all pitched in to get him different ones that we knew he liked and this particular one was his favorite. He likes it because of the way it can be converted in different formation of performance.

Pros: - Reliable 5 shots - Able to use streamline darts - Side loading without opening the side barrel Cons: - Barrel only has 5 darts - Will still jam sometimes ( less then stock maverick ) This blaster has potential but the way it rotates and fires could use some work. I use this blaster for Humans vs Zombies and have modified this blaster with a rotation mod for allowing better snapping of the barrel and I taken out the air-restrictor to improve firing distance.

The gun is a very good gun the only thing is that only holds 5 darts. I was expecting it to hold more from the look of it. I use when i have wars with my friends and it is very good. Its accurate and easy too function. The extendable back is easy to open and close when in tight situations. The long shot is easy too take on and off when in the middle of battle.

Our boys have greatly enjoyed the Nerf Gun. They usually have nerf battles with their friends and cousins that end up with darts all over the house. The gun works great.

i am a big nerf fan. we have more than 30 nerf guns. i like this one because its stalk folds. great

One of our grandsons requested this Nerf blaster, and he and his older brother have had a wonderful time with it.

Certo il prezzo (peraltro giustificato) è un po'alto per iniziare a conoscere questi stupendi giocattoli,,, quindi i neofiti (o genitori di neofiti) possono iniziare da un altro modello... Quest'arma è molto particolare : si tratta di un revolver(spara dardi whistler) il tamburo alloggia 5 proiettili e parzialmente fuoriesce per la ricarica (analogamente alla MAVERICK REV 6)... la carica avviene tramite una slitta superiore (come il RECON ma più pratica- la slitta tattica qui è posta anteriormente e non sul meccanismo).. il must è dato dal calcio pieghevole molto scenico... come particolare il tromboncino che allunga la canna dotato di simulacri di spegnifiamma e silenziatore... Prima di salutarVi i soliti consigli : giocare in allegria attenti agli occhi (usare gli occhialini) i dardi non fanno male ma è meglio evitare le cornee .... PRocuratevi qui su AMAZON i dardi di ricambio : vanno solo quelli whistler : ogiva più grande della cartuccia forata in modo che fischi in traiettoria -

The nerf spectre is probably the best all round gun, and it never jams or breaks, meaning you get your moneys worth with this gun. I want to start with negatives to get them out the way so: Negatives A bit pricey, luckily i bought it before its price went up. But it's definately worth it for a product. Only stores 5 bullets, but thats only one less than most nerf guns, so if you also buy the Nerf Jolt you will have the perfect combo. (the jolt is a mega powerful £5 pound pistol). Positives Durability is first class, never jams and has an improved cocking system to the maverick, its much somoother and won't get stuck when you shoot it. Shoots incredibly far, it will clear 35 feet easily and the whistler darts whistle really loudly, something you don't normally get with other guns. Acurrate, if aimed right it never misses, apart from weather affecting it. Attachments, it is the only whistler dart gun that comes with attachments, making it almost a mix between the maverick and the recon. Fun, you never grow bored of it. To sum it up it is amazing and everything i mentioned is not an exaggeration. Do not try to mod it though, it shoots fine and when i tried to mod mine it actually shot worse. parere mio e' un gioco molto divertente lo consiglio a tutti gli appasionati di nerf mi piace soprattutto il calcio anche se un p'o' instabile il prolungamento canna non e' brutto pero in pratica e' di belleza (non increscita la gittata dell'arma)
