Fits our 2008 Ford Edge, leaving only a few inches of the rear hatch glass exposed. Has pockets for outside rearview mirrors. Has 8 long non-elastic straps that tie to the wheels. No buckles or snaps. Idea is to slip through the spokes of the wheels and tie the straps with a slip knot, more or less like a shoe, unless you want to fight the knot to undo and remove the cover. Don't know how long the elastic will last in the sun. These half covers are much easier to store, install and remove than full car-body covers. Comes with a nice drawstring storage bag and a larger zipper pouch that holds the bag.

I don't have a garage so I bought this to cover my new pick-up truck during snowstorms. I've had it a year now, so can write a decent review. It doesn't quite reach the full length of my truck but it covers the roof, windshield and most of the cap. Once I remove the majority of the snow, the rest comes off with the cover and I have no worry of snow flying off as I'm going down the road. I also put it on when there is a threat of severe T-storms with hail stones. I don't know if it would do much to protect the truck from large hail stones, but I figure any little bit would help. It goes on fast. The orange stripes on the mirror covers help guide you. It did get a hole in it with the last storm which dumped 1/4" of ice on it and I had a tough time chiseling the ice off, but patched it with some duct tape and it's ready for the next storm. Thankfully, it is not a hassle to put on, it usually takes me about 5 minutes. When I take it off the truck I hang it up to dry then put it back in it's stuff sack. For the price, I'll buy new one next year. Maybe by then, the company will have one long enough to cover the full length of my pick-up.

The main reason why I am writing this review is because I myself own a Subaru Crosstrek and had no idea if this would work. Rest assured other Crosstrek brothers and sisters out there this product does indeed fit on the automobile! I love this so much and it really does keep the car cool in the sunlight. Not too sure how it will work during wintertime though. Some reason’s why I am giving it four stars… for starters one of the straps got a little snagged on from a rock or something so it started to fray a little bit but i fixed this issue. Another thing I noticed (which i think is more user error than an actual design flaw…) is that it did start to rip a little bit but the reason why I say it might be user error is because I might’ve tied down the straps a little too tight on one end of the crosstrek. (I will edit this and provide photo’s of Goliath with his new blanket… also Goliath is the name of my car). Another thing that would be nice would be instructions… now it is very self explanatory on how to use this product but for some people they might not know how to tie a knot.

The cover is decent but not great. I picked this one over others because this product has plastic hooks vs others that have metal hooks. But each side doesn't have the same number of hooks, not a deal breaker. It has enough nylon straps to allow you to tie down the cover. It takes about a minute to put on or remove the whole thing. Note this is a half cover meaning only the windows and trunk are covered. It keeps the car cooler when parked outside, reflecting the sun light away One minor defect is my cover must have tiny holes somewhere as after a rain storm the inside cover became wet. Overall it's ok.

I purchased this cover because I have a 2014 Ford Explorer w sunroof, and there is a small leak somewhere we could not find. I was just throwing a plastic tarp with some bungee cord over the top of my car, but wind moving the tarp created fine scratches in the clearcoat. One of the great features about this cover is that the inside of it is a soft locked fabric that dries quickly, and does not scratch your vehicle. It is super secure, especially since it fits over the mirrors, which helps to hold it down, the only trick is if you have an SUV. The bungee cords in the back are not quite long enough to click on the bumper… So it’s a bit tricky, holding the back down over at the tailgate. I solved the issue by tying the cords together on the back and then using an additional bungee cord to connect it to my bumper. We actually bought this over a year ago and I waited to make a review to see how it would hold up. It has held up great, no tears or damage even though I had to cut a small hole in the top of the cover to allow for my antenna on the back. After we got our cover, I started to notice several other neighbors with the same cover… So we seem to have inspired all of our neighbors as well. Also, we live in the mountains and you can get a lot of wet snow that turns to ice overnight, Cover is amazing because you can pull the cover off and the ice slides right off, your your car is clean and ready to go.. it was also held up through several very windy storms without coming loose or scratching my car. Now I don’t have to worry about the small leak somewhere around the sunroof because anytime we have rain or snow forecasted we put the cover on and it’s protected. Good value for the price!

I’ve only used it a few times so far it’s a bit tricky at first figuring out how it goes on but once you get the hang of it it’s not too bad. It has built in mirror covers too! Takes a bit to put on but saves from scraping the windows off especially when you are in a hurry.

Very easy to put on and kept interior cool! Very good product!

Les coutures à proximité des courroies se brisent au grand vent. J’ai réparé avec du Duck Tape, pour renforcer les coutures. D’autre part, la manœuvre pour les attaches à travers les jantes est difficile et salissante. J’ai ajouté aux extrémités des courroies des attaches parachutes à double réglage. Cela simplifie un peu la manœuvre mais cela demeure salissant de traverser des jantes de roues qui sont forcément sales en hiver.
