This is manual and not powered.
By adjusting the end caps up or down gives a very accurate diameter within the limits of the given sized reamer. go slow and easy and it will cut hard metal just fine. It is very slow and tedious but if you want perfection this little set will deliver.

for the price, fine
With super cheap tools that are 1/10th the price of quality counterparts like this, always expect to need to modify them in some way. So make sure you are able to measure things before expecting to get useful results. Had to make some minor geometry adjustments and deburr, work ok now.

Abysmal quality.
Horrendous quality even considering the price. Soft shafts that are not even straight right out of the box. Dull blades that don't cut properly. Shafts are not properly heat treated and break easily: I snapped the shaft on the 2nd hole I reamed and I was very gentle on the tool! Avoid!

Review correction
Arrived without jam-nuts necessary to adjust them. Hope I can find some as I'm sure they are a combination L & R hand thread.. Correction.. these reams have adjustable collects. NO JAM NUTS NEEDED. Product is as advertised and will work for my project

Excellent tool
Good tool set. I used this to ream out the end pin hole on a Martin 000-15m acoustic guitar. Worked perfectly.

Very poor quality which makes the entire set unusable.
Please don't buy this set. It is a sorrry excuse for machine tooling. I own a number of Chadwick angle reamers and made the mistake of avoiding a single $89 reamer purchase for a set of adjustable reamers for $30. What a joke. Completely unusable. Save your money . The adjusting nut is bell mouthed and includes a huge burr which made the reamer unable to be adjusted at all.
