$50 paper weight
Works fine, turns on and off with batteries. I set up the trap as directed. Left it off for a few nights, baited it, next mornings bait was gone. Decided to finally turn it in to kill some rats. The rats/mice have avoided this thing like the plague. I’ve tried different bait and nothing. It’s like the little vermin can sense the electricity.

Didn't work.
Tried it in numerous places where we see rats running around in our warehouse all the time. Tried a bunch of different food items in it like dog food (the same stuff they were getting into and making a mess of), peanut butter, lunch meat, cheeses and chips. After three weeks we realized this wasn't going to kill a single rodent for us, not even any of the mice that were coming around as well.

The seller was wonderful,got 1 of the 2 traps that would not turn on, and the seller replaced right away. But the trap did not kill anything, I put the bait in like instructed and you would see prints on the metal plates but never found any carcasses. I was really disappointed, the creatures are ruining the yard.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
These do work if you bait them properly, place them on or near "trails" used by the little rodents, and clean it after use. Battery life is quite good. They will also dispatch larger insects such as centipedes as well....

Did not turn on...
It did not turn on. The green light initially came on then the red light blinked and there was no power to the unit. The outlet definitely had power and functioned properly.

I had a different brand that worked great for one season
I had a different brand that worked great for one season, so I know how these traps should work.This one did not work at all.The food was eaten, the droppings were all around the trap, but it NEVER triggered.....Do not buy.

Not working properly!! Even with the plug it’s not working
Put brand new batteries in it and after a couple days the light started blinking red. Went to the store bought new batteries installed those and still blinking red nothing is inside of the trap.

Dead on arrival
Dead on arrival. Lights lit but no high voltage or shock. Took a few days to discover it was a rat feeder not a rat trap. Had to return it.
