Everlasting Hope Review: Beautiful Artwork and Inspiring Thoughts and includes traceable art, paste-able art, and full color stickers - I own two God-centered coloring books by Karla Dornacher and hope that she will release more coloring books in the future. “Everlasing Hope” is not a coloring book nor is it a step-by-step how-to for journaling in your own Bible. It is, firstly, an explanation of how Ms. Dornacher journals in her Bible. What makes up the bulk of the book are the pre-printed aids for you to use when you journal. Those aids are in the form designs by Ms. Dornacher: eight traceable pages of designs, four pages of vellum designs which can be cut out and pasted into your Bible, and four pages of full color stickers. I wasn't sure quite what to expect from the book when I pre-ordered it, but I am very pleased to have something so different from other books I have on Bible Journaling. It appears that the publisher has a number of similar books by different artists, so choosing the one(s) whose art appeals to me will be the hardest decision. I will certainly use all of the components in this book in journaling Bible that I recently purchased. It will be very different from the Bibles that I have which either had printed designs for coloring or which I used my own artwork (inspired by how-to books) to do my own journaling. Review: Lovely - I posted this same review for another booklet like this one. The same is true for both. Beautiful. Stickers, tape strips, traceables...but my favorites are the designs on opaque parchment. I love to color or add artwork to my journaling bible as I mediate on God's word. While I admire the many wonderful illustrations that take up a page with beautiful paint and markers, personally I don't want to color over the word itself. I want to be able to read it. So the parchment designs let me put in inserts that can be simply lifted up to read the scripture and laid back down to show the illustrations. Which gives me the option of illustrations in the margins or inserts or both. That works well for me.

Tons of side margin art to use in your bible!
While this bible journaling book doesn’t have as much “how to” as some of the others, and is thinner, it has more usable products in it. There are 4 vellum sheets with her art on them- #14 side margin art that are beautiful (the ones that look like book marks), #21 smaller side margin art that are also on the same vellum sheets. 4 sheets of colorful stickers that could be used for side art (these are not sheer, but are nonetheless beautiful). The stickers would be appropriate for a planner or scrapbook as well. There are 8 pages of “traceable art” as well that include two alphabets you can trace. I highly recommend this book for those who are new to bible journaling like myself as well as to those who are experienced.

Fun book of beautiful artwork!
This is a fun book of Karla's beautiful artwork that shows her heart for God! It's full of ideas & artwork you can use in your own Bible journaling. You can trace the work into your own Bible, color, cut, & paste it, or mix & match the designs & add your own to create whatever you want!

This book is a must have!
This is the sweetest little book I have come across. By little I mean only 40 pages which are absolutely loaded with the sweetest pics and ideas. Loving all the stickers, traceables, and the vellums that can be cut out and add to my Bible are all outstanding. Love every single page...wishing for more!!!

A great resource for those who are beginning to practice Bible Journaling
I was searching for another book to aid me in my journey to Bible Journal and came across this work by Karla Dornacher. I found it to be quite useful and have already used the letter techniques she provides on numerous occasions. I like the fact that I can pull out many of the pages in order to using them for tracing as I practice my own drawing and writing in my sketchbook. And there are wonderful examples of how she uses all the elements.

Beautiful
We got this for our 10 yr old granddaughter. It may not be for every 10 yr old but our girl is very creative, artistic and loves to write. She squealed with delight. So, we are all happy. A perfect way to express feelings and approach prayer

Thrilled with "Everlasting Hope"
I was thrilled when I received "Everlasting Hope" and looked through the pages slowly and intently, contemplating how I'd use them in my Bible journaling. Karla never disappoints when sharing her Christian faith through her artwork. I have recommended this to my friends and plan on buying some as Christmas gifts for some other Bible journaling friends. Loads of resources that can be copied or traced in your Bible.
