TimMee Toy Tanks for Plastic Army Men - OD Green WW2 3pc - Made in USA

I've seen a lot of people complain about the price, but trust me, these are definitely worth it. They are made here in America and the plastic is really durable. They are also much larger than most of the cheaper tanks you can get, so not only will they last longer, but they'll feel cooler too (size difference isn't massive, but big enough to feel better). Overall, this is a great product and should serve you well for whatever you need it for. The tanks should withstand normal play and I know there are some that collect these, animate stop motion with them, make dioramas with them, etc. Great purchase.

A fair price for a US manufactured toy the same tank they made when I was a kid and my dad bought me I now buy for my son. Worth every penny.

These are some of the tanks I grew up playing with. Glad to see them back in production. They are from the same molds as the Timmee tanks from the 1970's. Some time in the 1970's Processed Plastics took over the mold's and continued to produce these, the jeep and cannon, the armored car, 2-1/2 ton truck and Vietnam era army men until the early 1990's. Ton's of kids grw up with these in the 1970's and 80's. At some point in the 80's, the rolling wheel mounts were removed from the tank mold, and they were no longer issued with rolling wheels.Fast forward to today and a company called Victory Buy is reproducing the Timmee line, including these tanks and the other vehicles as well as the Vietnam era GI's. They are molded in several different colors previously not available including gray, blue and olive green.These are basically a hodge-podge of M-48/60 features. Being an army men tank, the attention to detail is not that of a model, but they are pretty detailed given their origins. And of course one takes into account the intent as a toy, not a display model.These are manufactured from a slightly stiff, flexible plastic. They're not as flexible as the original Timmee/Processed Plastic one's were, but they're still pretty durable. Unless a kid is really trying to purposely break something on these they should stand up to normal play and wear and tear.Of course, if you're a 40 something year old kid like me, you'll probably just display them (or maybe attack the cats with them....).

NIce tanks for the price. The only complaint I have is that the stickers were not complete. Only 2 stars and 2 American flags for 3 tanks. Not a big deal except to a little boy who wonders why they don't all look alike.

Our seven year old grandson loves these and they pair well with his other army sets. They are good value for the money there is no assembly required and the size is appropriate.

The price is ridiculous. I mean, I've reached a point in life where that's not an issue but, wow. Most people have not, and kids themselves can't afford these, yet these are what we wanted so very very badly back when I was about 11 years old.Sadly, with the last days of the Viet Nam War raging, stuff like this was very hard to come by as so many self-righteous grown-ups thought it was their sacred duty to protect kids from things like green plastic army men, G.I. Joes, and even toy guns. Fortunately, from clear across the country, my grandfather fixed me up.All the same. These are the genuine article. I get one or two packages of the tanks each year, along with some army men, and maybe some zombies, or knights, or whatever. My grandson is only 3, but in a handful of years we are going to have such wars. Can't wait.
