Not warm below 25F and restrictively narrow
NOT Warm. I’ve been using these gloves for working outdoors, shoveling snow etc and found them to be useless for anything below 25f. Just spent 20 minutes shoveling in 18F, windy conditions and my hands were aching. Perhaps the issue is with the cut of these gloves which are VERY narrow and for me, constricting, even in an X large? It’s not like I have giant paws either, but perhaps others who found these gloves to be decent have narrower hands and thus better circulation? Bottom line for me, the gloves did not in any way measure up for the cost.

Caveat emptor
These claim to be good for "riding motorcycle cold weather". Well, good luck with that, as they didn't even keep my hands warm shoveling snow at around 35F. They are also a tight fit. In my quest for warm gloves for my winter biking commute in the Boston area I tried at least half a dozen of these inexpensive gloves sold on Amazon, often from fly-by-night Chinese brands, and have found that the old saying "you get what you pay for" very much applies here, too. So, caveat emptor.

The ideal all around use winter gloves
Anybody that is lucky enough to live in cold weather climate knows the importance of a good pair of gloves. From working shoveling snow or playing with others in snowball fights the hands always seem to get the coldest the fastest. After spending 3x the price I paid here last year with bad wet cold luck I decided to try a newer brand at a cheaper price point. Opening the delivery I was impressed with the detail of the gloves. From the wrist velcro closure to the pull string ends this pair was very well designed. Too many times the insulation always seems to clump up in the ends of the fingers making handling items awkward. These dont seem to do that as wearing them keeps the use of fingers for working. The palm side is thicker than most gloves I have used but yet still very flexible. They are called ski gloves but tight stiches ..excellent seams and grip they are for simply a outdoor activities. They work especially well on my atv as controls and grip are astounding. Construction is over the top as I had zero problems with the claim of waterproof as hands stayed dry all afternoon. This pair will be my go to for atv use plowing snow and ice fishing. For this price point these gloves are absolutely fantastic and look forward to putting them through the cold wet winter season.

Great buy for the price
I wore these gloves with merino wool liners dog sledding in Colorado, which included an overnight on a 10,000 mountain at minus 20 degrees. The waterproofing held up and my hands were warm throughout. These gloves get a high rating if one references them across site reviews, one of the reasons I purchased them. My only complaint is they are exceedingly tight to get on and off which was a general common issue in the reviews I read. This may not be so much an issue if one is leaving them on, but if you are involved in an activity that requires fine motor skills in the field, even with the wrist strap loosened they are very hard to get on and off.

Solidly Constructed Gloves That Keep Your Hands Warm
Full disclaimer: I bought these late in the winter (middle of February) so I didn't get much time to actually test them out. However, with what little testing I was able to do, they were great!Over the years I have lost gloves and worn cheapo gloves that end up disappearing. With some real heavy snow that I started getting around early February 2021 where I live, I decided it was time to take a step up and invest in some real quality gloves. These were the solution! Now, when I'm out shoveling, I don't have holes or my gloves and my hands are certainly not getting cold. They have straps AND elastic bands you can use to secure the gloves to your hands for as tight of a fit as you want.Considering these gloves are intense enough to be used for snowboarding, they certainly cut it for my use of being out and about and shoveling snow for extended periods of time. No complaints here, I truly love the product!

High marks for these
I live in cold weather and sub zero temp`s as well for 5 months out of the year, our winter is brutal, and you learn real fast to not go cheap when it comes to cold, so on with why I bought these. The look actually grabbed my attention first, then the more I read the more I need to pick a side by side comparison that I love about amazon`s product comparison chart, and these came up better than other`s in almost every way, the detail and fit are extremely nice, the keep your fingers nice and toasty, plus the added waterproof feature was a nice design add to these gloves,I highly recommend these to anyone dealing with the harshness of winter,

Fair priced for what you get
I've used a gloves a handful of times for shoving and snow blowing and my initial impression is they are priced fair at 40 bucks. Initially I thought they ran small since they were tight, however, they have stretched some since they fit well now. They seem durable but time will tell if they hold up and don't tear at the seems like all my other gloves have. I had high expectations for their warmth since they are advertised to be insulated with 150 gram fill, however my fingers do get cold. I'd say they are marginally warmer than a 20 dollar pair with 40 gram insulate. Note that my experience with these gloves is in 10 degree F temps. I'm starting to think that mittens or gloves with warmers is my next best option, but for now these will do.

Tight fit but great glove!
I ordered black and received grey. The bag the gloves came in are even labeled black but they are clearly the grey version. I didn't knock a star off for that because I can deal with the grey vs. the hassle of returning for black. The gloves are somewhat small for a typical XL. If you typically wear an XL glove and don't want a tight fit I'd probably look for something else. I'm hoping the padding will mat down and loosen up as I wear them. The interior is soft and they appear to stay warmer than other more expensive gloves I've worn in the past.

Perfect for really cold weather.
These gloves are really better than what I expected. Seems pretty durable with two tone of leather and tough fabric. Have nice firm grip on the palms. Nice quality and design

Don't make the mistake I did
"MCTi Ski Gloves Winter Waterproof Snow Snowboard PU Leather 3M Thinsulate Warm Gloves for Mens Womens"I should have read the product description more carefully. I thought these were the warmest of the models MCTi offers since it has the most grams of Thinsulate (150g+), but actually they're not. These are rated to 10F/-12C and cannot handle my winters. At -20C with no wind, my fingers were cold but bearable. These gloves fail at -24C (with wind chill -35C) and -28C (wind chill -45C). For these temperatures, I should have bought the gloves that had a mix of 40g Thinsulate and warm cotton, as those are rated by MCTi to -20F/-28C.Otherwise, these gloves are well constructed, lightweight, and the fit is good.

Cannot withstand Canadian winters
The gloves are comfortable and of surprisingly high quality and so far they've held up great (no loose threads) but they definitely are not capable of keeping you "warm around 5°F [-15°C]". They are acceptable at around 5°C but as soon as it dips below 0 it feels like you're wearing nothing at all. For instance, today the temperature was -8°C with no wind at all and after a mere 10 minutes my hands were freezing cold and it was very painful. As such, they are totally useless for winter in Quebec.

Not warm/came in with broken stitching
I had these gloves on with the MCTI glove liners. It was -7 degrees celcius, and my hands were practically freezing cold in 20-25 minutes. Not only that, the gloves came in with poor stitching on the inside. Rather than return them, I sewed them up on my own as I know my way around a thread and needle. I am not impressed with this product, and I would not recommend them.

Nice and warm!
I have poor circulation and have cold fingers all winter. Regular gloves just don't work well for me - my fingers end up frozen after spending half an hour shoveling snow, and if they get a tear anywhere the cold seeps through right away. Someone recommended ski gloves to me instead and I tried them out. This pair does the trick! They are warm and solidly built, waterproof and yet not super constrictive. I'll be using them for shoveling and other outdoor activities when I'm outside for hours...and maybe even skiing someday.
