We live in the country and need to get a lot of items shipped to us... Needles to say we end up breaking down a lot of cardboard. Where has this tool been all my life?! It's wonderful. Very easy to slice through cardboard sides to make them into more manageable pieces. I have not used on really thick cardboard yet, but I imagine it could still be used, just slower. Highly recommend.

Save your nicer blades from carboard abuse
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I break down a lot of cardboard boxes for recycling. This knife saves my better blades. Good value, good product.

Cuts through cardboard efficiently
Cutting ability: So much better than what I was using before to break down boxes - scissors. The blade cuts clean and straight. I can reuse cardboard more efficiently.

Easy to Use.
Easy to use, cuts pretty clean but not as clean as the matte knife. Bought this for our 9 yo, would recommend demonstrating how to safely use it as he did get a couple minor cuts (have gotten him cutting gloves since) -but much better than scissors and asking us to constantly cut for him with a knife!

Teflon coated are better
These get gummed up too easily when cutting taped cardboard....hard to clean tape off because these are definitely SHARP

Works pretty well as a box cutter alternative
Less dangerous to use than a box cutter, and in most cases it works just as well. And the price is right.

Outstanding product. Has been used a lot and saves a great deal of time cutting up packaging- very safe to use with serrated blades and slightly rounded tip / Japanese quality product - pleased it comes with blade protector too. Highly recommended Cutter.

Great tool for cutting up cardboard whether it’s for crafting or just making bits of box smaller for the bin. Acts more like a saw than a box cutter but watch your fingers nonetheless.
