The casters serve their purpose but I was hoping for something better.
I bought these piano casters in hopes that I could move my heavy piano across a new hardwood floor I just installed.While it is true the casters help lessen the weight of a piano pulled against fragile wood, these casters do not slide across the floor as I had hoped. I did purchase similar type casters to use on various other pieces of furniture, such as tables, couch, chairs et cetera, and those other casters work fine.In fairness to this manufacturer, the piano is quite heavy and no caster will completely enable a heavy piano to be easily moved across a floor.Bottom line, I am not disappointed by the purchase. The only negative comment I have is expressed above.

Perfect for a piano, a bit large for other things like chairs
These are larger sized and made for a piano. I have two chairs and bought these to protect my carpeting. Well, that wasn't a great idea because the chairs slide around a little on these since they are big and made for pianos. So, my fault and not the product's fault. I still use them for my chairs. I just have to make sure the chair stays on them.

Works well
I had doubts that these plastic discs would be strong enough to hold something as heavy as a piano, but they do. So far no damage to new laminate flooring and no damage to the discs from the weight of the piano.
