I love the different ways you can control it; tilt, slingshot, face drive, and much more! I have an original Sphere, too. this one is similar, but a whole lot different. Mini seems faster and quicker. Also, the LED inside Sphero-mini is cool. Sphero mini is a great product.

It is everything we hoped and my ITT son loved it as well as my grandkids. It lights up, you can change the colors, It is small enough to pack in the hardshell case and kill time almost anyplace. Super cool and worth every penny in entertainment.

Love this product. It has even more functions than I originally thought when I ordered it. There are so many things to do with this, and at a pretty good price. It's also nice how customizable they are, I didn't do anything with this shell but I'm planning to order another shell and paint it. Overall, amazing for play and education. I've recommended this to several people.

Cute tiny and fun just to pull out anywhere especially to prank friends with it’s a cute time killer

Pros: pretty long battery life, you can start it using the app even I’d you are pretty far away, works great on flat surfaces, you can change the LED color, is fun for us and the dog. Cons: the exterior shell snaps together (our dog can easily break it apart [I understand this was not designed as a dog toy, though]), you must remove the shell to charge it. The cons are minor, but if a rubber cover we're available, that would solve the problem of Lucy breaking it apart. I've seen the request from others who own this, too. Overall, a fun little robot.

My son who just turned 11 is taking a Robotics class afterschool this year and fell in love with the Sphero Mini they use and asked for his own. He is super thrilled to have his very own and showed me how it works!! I try to keep my kids off the electronics but who are we kidding. Electronics is their world now and having things like this that are more educational helps!!! Cannot wait for him to start trying out with coding.

I am a big fan of Sphero and I can honestly say that I had the most fun with this product. The mini games it provides in the app as well as the portability make this a fantastic toy for pass time. I bring it to my classes and when my professors are inevitably late I bring it out and pass the time.

The Sphero is a well-made product but I am VERY disappointed with their software. The process of creating an account just to USE the block coding app and allow students to access the same software is CONVOLUTED. A computer lab teacher with many hundreds of students cannot be expected to have each of them create an account just to block code this device. Without doing so, this device is limited in what it can do and has limited educational value. I have purchased literally dozens of Ozobots b/c their software is FREE and doesn't require each student to have a unique account to use it.
