Simple but very effective
I found this backboard really effective in stretching my back. Suffered from mid back pain for ages and after a recent chest injury had pain in the right ribs. Using everyday has really helped with pain relief, posture and movement. Only slight issue is it occasionally flexes if not in the right place on the lower setting, however this a minor issue as overall I’ve found so helpful and a great relief.

Really great product for stretching the back out!
Within 5 minutes I felt a difference. I’ll keep using it over the next few weeks but so far so good! Would recommend

This actually feels surprisingly comfortable
Okay I’m only on level 1 the lowest of the three concave settings but I really do enjoy using this , I initially was a bit wary leaning my back on the protrusions but after about a minute of lying on it as per the instructions I could feel myself sinking into the posture , the muscles in my back appeared to relax and allow the backboard to support them , the massage points were doing their job without any discomfort whatsoever.I do a bit of yoga now and then and I run five miles every day so I do try to stay fit and healthy i even do a bit of pilates after my run but sometimes if I bend too often when I am weeding the garden etc I find it difficult to straighten up fully when I stand up especially if I’m tired so I thought that perhaps I should strengthen my back and try and make sure it’s alignment is correct, some of the running books I read mention incorrect posture exacerbated by poor running form and apparently one can cause the other they even say good posture helps to align the back so this backboard in my humble opinion might be the answer.Bottom line is I’m enjoying it .It feels odd lying on it for half an hour at a time but boy oh boy it doesn’t half feel good.

Great quality, only used for around a week but already seeing benefits...
The item is very well made, great materials and explicitly open about how to use.Pros:* Well made, well presented + packaged* Very easy to use* Almost instant results for me personally (your mileage may vary)Cons:* For those with severe back issues, mobility may prohibit using this item - one has to lie on the floor and flex using the device, and then get back up again. Doing so unaided may be tricky for someI will endeavour to update my review after more use, but so far so good. Recommended.[UPDATE] After now another 8 months of using this pretty much every day, my back is stronger, and my posture has certainly improved. Great product.

Disappointing
Disappointing - it gave me bad back pain for two weeks after just using it just a few times, partner tried using it and it just collapsed beneath him and hes an average weight. Very disappointed given all the good reviews. Waste of money wouldn't recommend

Surprisingly good!
I was happy to have an opportunity to test this item, as a friend was recently telling me that his osteopath had advised him to buy one of these to help with his back issues. I don't suffer from major back pain myself, but I sit in an office chair in all the wrong ways 5 days a week, and sometimes end up in the warehouse shifting boxes and packing items too. All of this leads to a little issue, niggle, tweak here and there at times.Assembling this took a few glances back and fourth between the parts from the box and the instructions - it's not immediately obvious which way it goes, or which way you use it, and it's something I wanted to be 100% sure of getting right. Once I'd figured that out, I tried with the lowest setting, and found it easy to get used to and surprisingly comfortable. I used it on the floor on this lowest setting for a few days, then tried the next position, a little higher. This took more getting used to and is probably where I will stay at for a while. Both positions seemed to provide a good stretch to release some tension from the day, which for me was wonderful. The item is well made and seems sturdy enough to support the weight as stated. Maybe it's just me, but I would like to see some clearer images of the set-up and usage, other than provided with the single sheet instruction/information. I think this brand/company/product could also benefit a lot from a YouTube channel and video showing the item in use - I think it would help people a lot to be 100% confident they are using it correctly. Results will be mixed for different people - no doubt; but given the relatively low cost, I think this is well worth a try!

Good design about just not strong enough
I had high hopes for this Backboard Stretch device, but as soon as I laid on top it was uncomfortable and too flexible. I’m not too heavy at 13 stone but it just made the arch buckle out of shape, it didn’t make any difference to what arch height I set. There was no point on me laying on this for 5 to 10 minutes when it’s was almost squashed flat. My wife who only weights 8 stone can use it, and that’s the only reason I am given this 2 stars.Overall, in my personally opinion this is not constructed strong enough.Alan
