Well made and sturdy
I used this with an axle from Robert Axle Project so I can tow a Thule Chariot with my bike. It works perfectly, and I have confidence it will hold up. The adapter is well made and fits perfectly. Credit to the manufacturer for taking the care and time to do it right.

Strong and reliable
It's definitely up to the high standard that Thule sets. It's really thick gauge metal that isn't likely to bend or break anytime soon. I'm not sure it's $30 worth of metal, but it's the de facto option.
