I actually like these high flow couplers.The difference can be felt in the tools.I also like that the collar stays back by itself making plugging it together easier.My disappointment is from the little plastic ring inside one of the couplers breaking the first day of use.I was installing the male connectors on my tools, and testing them for leaks one at a time.Upon release the coupler did not seal itself back up, and starting blowing out air.No amount of resetting the tool in the coupler would make a difference.When I spun the connector open to see what had happened,I saw the split plastic piece as shown.I already knew how to take these apart since a different one of the 4 coulplers had it's rubber O-ring put of place and I had to take the coupler apart to put it in the correct location.

I had very high hopes for these. I used a regular flow air coupler for years (same one) and finally changed out to these high flow couplers. At first I was extremely impressed with them (for about a week) when suddenly, I unhooked a tool and the coupler's check valve was stuck in full-flow. I tried banging it on the bench to see if it would unstick. No dice. Re-connected the tool and unhooked several times... still stuck at full flow. Turned the air flow off and let it sit overnight - no dice. So I figured maybe just an oddball bad coupler, unscrewed it and put another one on the end of my airline (since there are 4 in the package, 2 male / 2 female). The second one worked for about 2 weeks and again, same problem - suddenly the coupler goes into full free-flow when unhooked and won't stop! I'll be switching to something else.

I had higher hopes for this product. They look nice, but extremely soft metal that will mar when tightening. So far all of the couplers have leaks, some small annoying ones and another is useless it leaks so much. One got stuck open and when disconnected would just spew out air. They were ok for the first few days, but after that I began to have problems. I gave 2 stars because I may have just gotten a bad batch and there were enough pieces in the kit to keep going on my project, also the price was not bad.

This coupler does not last very long. The o-ring inside will fly out if you use the wrong type of connector and I am unable to find a replacement anywhere. There is no o-ring specs showing the dimensions and I cannot find any information from the manufacturer website, this includes contacting them. I have tried other sizes and they all leak .

Really like these, the way they "click" and un-click. Had to force myself to spend the money, very glad I did.Oh, and they ARE "backwards compatible" with the old style. At least in the "fat coupler" to "narrow hose" direction, which is all you need. Very nifty.

One of the connectors has something broke inside. When I disconnect the tool the air will not shut off and keeps on coming out. I have to either turn the air valve on the compressor of or leave the tool plugged in. Or be very quick switching to another tool. I don't know whats wrong but it is a no go for any more from OEM on these. Switching over to Milton made in the USA. These fittings are not compatible with Milton so I have to start over with everything new.

The coupler are of terrible bad quality. We purchased 2 sets of 1/4 and one set of 3/8 NPT kits. After only 3 months ofLittle use ( about 2 dozens of coupling/ uncoupling) the all and every of the couplers start to disintegrate and leak! We requested a full refund and will purchase another brand.

These eventually ALL give out. I just had the second male coupler give up, and both females are already shot.I don't know the mechanics of it, but they all last for a while, then one time you pop the hose out and they leak air through the coupler.It's not debris, nor is it mishandling. I've used more of these in my life than I've eaten bowls of cereal... And these specifically are short-lived junk. Spend a few more dollars and get ones that last.

I love these fittings.They worked so well with my impact driver (600+lb/ft) and absolutely leak free. They are also backward compatible with the regular non-high flow fittings so you don’t need to replace all at once.Highly recommended!
