iGPSPORT BSC100S GPS Bike Computer Wireless, 2.6'' LCD Display 40H Rechargeable Waterproof Cycling Computer Bluetooth ANT+

It's easy to mount and looks great. The simple sunlight-readable LCD display (also backlit at night) reminds me of the old wired wheel sensor ones we had as kids, but it has so many more features packed into it. It has GPS, connects to your phone with bluetooth to their app which will link instantly with Strava, and if you want more data, can connect to any standard wireless speed, cadence, and heartrate sensors. Battery life seems great. I haven't run it dead yet, in fact any ride less than about 25 miles and it won't even drop by a bar. No comment so far on durability, but it's really lightweight and plastic, so I imagine a drop wouldn't hurt it. I did one ride in pouring rain and it's definitely waterproof. It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it, only has two buttons which do different things whether you're in a ride or not. The manual is pretty short and simple, maybe too simple with some Chinglish, but it gets the job done. One note: When they say diameter, they mean circumference ;) No routing capability that I know of and no fancy color screen with map, but low price and high battery life are the benefits you get by not having those things.

I'm pretty happy with this little gizmo. It automatically tracks my rides and uploads them to Strava. It gives me the info I need for my ride. It does not do GPS navigation, but I ride the same trails all the time and generally don't need directions. EDIT: I found one negative. It will not work while being charged. This is a particular drawback if you have an Ebike with a built-in USB port. It can save you the hassle of having to dismount it to charge it. If it worked while charging, you could leave it on the bike all the time and it would charge while you ride. Still, given the price and features, I don't think this drawback would be worth deducting a star.

For the price, this is a very nice bike GPS. It picks up the GPS signal very quickly, and it was easy to pair with my iPhone and a heart rate arm band. The phone app allows downloading and viewing tracks. It also allows track exports in .FIT, .GPX, or .TCX file formats. You can also connect the app to Strava. The unit was easy to mount on my bike, and it's easy to find extra mounts (standard Garmin type) if you want to move the unit around among your other bikes. The display is quite readable. I appreciate the use of USB-C for charging rather than micro-USB like some other units. This GPS is not a replacement for the higher-end Garmin, Wahoo, etc. units. It doesn't have any real-time directions or mapping built in, but then it is a MUCH lower price than those units. It is actually comparable in price to the older pre-GPS bike computers, but with much more functionality, and much easier to install. One important thing to watch out for in the phone app: by default, GPS track visibility is set to public. You need to change the "Activity Privacy Status" setting in the app if you want to restrict visibility to just friends or make it completely private. The phone app also unnecessarily requires agreeing the usual long legal nonsense. Due to the privacy issue and the ridiculous legal agreement, I've only given this 4 stars. Otherwise, it would probably be 5 stars.

UPDATE: after about a month of regular use with the bsc100s I am happy to report that this thing has worked flawlessly. syncs to my strava fast and without issue. you can't beat this for the price IMO and I usually hate everything! also: paired it to my garmin wheel speed sensor no problem too! I've used garmin products for the past 10years and couldn't justify shelling out another $300-400 on another one after mine Edge died. non replaceable batteries in a $400 electronic device is absurd. same thing with their watches. what should cost about $40 in new batteries would cost me about $700 in new devices between my edge and my watch. absurd. and to be honest, I had CONSTANT issues with my edge anyway. syncing issues and the unit wouldn't even turn on half the time w/o having to do a soft reset. nothing more annoying than constantly having to deal with that, i dreaded it each and every ride. so thats what brought me to try this $44 bsc100s. and so far so good. no issues setting up the app- although all the permission you have to agree to is a little sketchy but whatever..., synced right up to my strava account, took it for a spin this morning for a short 8mile ride and no issues with its main function. saved the ride when done, synced within a few seconds to both my strava app and the igpsport app. I will update my review as time goes on but even if this thing only lasts me a year or 2 I'll be happy for the price vs shelling out the insane amounts of cash for another garmin device. word of advice, the included instruction manual is pretty much useless, scan the QR code in that booklet to get the full 14page manual online. here are my only 2 grips so far with the unit. 1. theres no way to combine your AVG speed on a page with your MPH. so anytime I want to see my avg speed while riding i have to push the right button to skip a page on the 4 page display and then i can see my AVG mph, then to see my real time MPH I have to go back to the page I was on, THIS was a pretty big bummer for me personally . 2. the fonts in the little windows are hard to read if you're like me and have compromised reading vision (the joys of getting old..). but I can deal with that , its not a deal breaker on the unit as with time I'll memorize what each of the 4 lower quadrants of the display are showing me . I still need to sync my garmin wheel speed sensor but so far I'm happy with my purchase. for under $50 you cant beat it IMO. and it's free returns anyway, so what do you have to lose. send it back if you don't like it and then go spend 4x the amount for the closest name brand unit thats comparable.

I am a retired senior and I started riding bikes about 2 years ago. This small bike computer has been a game changer for me. I have only had it about a week, so reliability over time is an unknown. It picks up the satellites quickly and appears to be accurate, as I have nothing to compare it to. I really like the fact that it shows me my miles ridden as well as the average mph. I currently started riding about 27 miles a day every other day. The readout is fine and living in a southern climate with a lot of sun, I wear polarized sunglasses and can see the screen very well. It also came with a bonus which was the handlebar mounting unit which makes it very convenient. About the only thing I can comment that may not be accurate is battery life. My ride usually takes me about 2 hours, and in that time the battery seems to go down more than I anticipated. The battery does not give a numerical readout, but rather shows a battery icon with marks. It seems every few rides drops the battery level to a point that I really question the 40 hours of potential charge that the seller indicates. I only charged it 1x or 2x, so I will need to see if it settles down and I should be actually getting about 20 rides out of a charge. I am obviously not a competitive biker, mountain bike, etc.. I only say that as there are many more expensive and feature laden bike computers available here at Amazon. I ride within my community on the same "circuit" so I did not have the need for more extensive features. Overall, super happy with this computer. I hope it lasts a long time. Update: I've now had this a few weeks and it had "frozen" in the middle of a ride. The buttons become unresponsive and only resetting the computer brought it back to life. I then lost ALL the information stored in the computer and had to set the computer up from scratch as if I was just using it for the first time. I contacted the company and they contacted me within 48 hrs. They suggested the "fix" was to reset the computer, which worked. I rode about 30 miles right after I reset the computer and it worked fine. I'm hoping this was just a blip. The company did offer to replace the product if the fix they suggested was unsuccessful.

Neat little GPS that only has ride data, no maps. Perfect for using on a variety of bicycles to determine which are faster, without the hassle of trying to calibrate wheel and tire sizes. Does everything a conventional non-GPS cyclocomputer does, for not much more than non-GPS units. Made in China so the Chinese Communist party will know all your bike routes. Better not to use if you are an important US government official!

So far, I've bought four IGSport bike computers for my bikes. It seems that the model I wanted wasn't available- the IGS50E. Each one has always worked perfectly. Long press on middle button saved the ride. A USB connection to the computer gave immediate access to the .fit files which were then uploaded to Strava. A very simple and easy process. The newer version is the BSC100S which I just received. The setup wasn't too difficult but actually using it was another story. I got so frustrated in trying to use it, I ultimately gave up and Amazon was kind enough to give a refund. after sending it back. Full disclosure here. I'm not a smartphone kind of guy. I use a desktop computer for all my computer needs. My phone only comes along with me in case of an emergency. I followed the instructions to a "T." Download the IGSport app to my cell phone. Easy enough. Pair the app to the computer. Well, it paired, but then disconnected. It paired, then disconnected. What the heck? That's about as far as I got before giving up. The phone paired when it felt like it then unpaired right afterward. Understand, this was in my home, under a controlled situation. What if I wanted to save a ride and the phone/BSC100S didn't want to cooperate? Why do I need so many bike computers? I have each one dedicated to specific bikes. That way, I don't have to recalibrate the computer to different tire sizes by using one for all the bikes. If I forget to recalibrate, all the ride data isn't correct. I am not badmouthing the BSC100S but totally dislike the complicated (to me) method of apps, pairing, and needing a smartphone to make it all work. It just seems to be too much trouble for me. The more technology advances, the more I fall behind. One last thing- the font size of the BSC100s is smaller than those used on the IGS50E which makes them harder to read. Big and bold is the way to go!

Great purchase for the money I just wanted something to track my distance and speed and this does it. The battery life is great too
