Solid bit of kit. Feels really sturdy with a tough case and a strong, standout blade that doesn’t flop over easily. The markings are clear and easy to read, and the lock works smoothly. It’s the kind of tape measure that can handle being dropped, kicked, or left in the back of the van. Proper reliable tool for any job.

Really good quality tape measure with a decent autostay function, press the button in to retract. Whether the tape will last long if used at full length unsupported, I'm not sure it twisted a little when spanning a gap but not a shock for a smaller tape

Tl/Dr: like it, glad I got 2Decent price, 5m long without being bulky, printed on both sides (although the back is metric only), has a type of lock I haven't seen before that seems really handy (tape can be pulled out and stays out, then snaps back pretty good when unlocked), has a magnet on the hook which is prob really handy for metalwork, can't really comment on that as it does little on wood or masonry (although I have had some success using it to pick up dropped screws - trick is to not let the tape snap all the way back or it pings it off somewhere else). And it comes in a 2 pack, which is handy because tape measures can be stealthy little blighters when you need one.

Good for approximate measurements, but end of tape is poorly positioned relative to the scale, so about 1mm out on every measurement. Won't matter for many things on a building site but if you're cutting things that need to be accurate for making cabinets etc it's not great. Also within a day the tape had permanent dints in it, and I'm pretty careful with tools, my Festool tape has about the same after 7 years of use, but I wanted a 5m tape so bought this. OX usually good, do a bit disappointed they didn't get the basics right, fancy locking is great, but if it’s not accurate, all a bit pointless!Other reviews have criticised that the end isn’t well riveted and so it moves - it is supposed to move! On this and any other good tape it should move by exactly the thickness of the metal “hook” plate, otherwise it would not automatically adjust for being pushed against an object rather than hooked over it! I guess “not a lot of people know that”.

This double pack is great value and quality. They work nicely, fit in my hand well and not too heavy to have in your pocket. They extend relatively far unsupported before they bend down. Easy to see in work area with the blue body. The tape has a clear number scale and matt finish which is handy for putting pencil marks on. Provides constant measurements. The tape lock button provides retraction control and useful for marking out. Always great to have two, would recommend.
