Nice SWR on 2 meter!
My antenna was delivered today, and I put it on my meter to check SWR at various frequencies and antenna lengths. At 2 m, I was able to get 1.01:1 SWR. Frequency 144 MHz, fully extended to 42". At 70 cm band, freq 446 MHz, SWR was 1.23:1 with one extra section of antenna openna, for a total of 17.5 inches antenna length. HT used for testing is Baofeng AR 5RM.

Does telescopic antenna still have a place today?
YES! Nice quality. Definitely made a difference trying to hit local repeaters on the fringe of my normal coverage. Fully extended provided me with access with my Alinco HT to repeaters I could only hit from my home base antenna.Worth the money.

FT-60 2m simplex - ~30dB improvement on Tx
I had a bear of a time finding any real-life evaluations of this antenna. My impression is that it’s either a rebadging or knockoff of the Harvest 660S, which I could find a couple reviews of, so for $16 I gave it a shot.To evaluate it, I drove a few miles away, made some test transmissions with my FT-60 on 2m simplex and had my wife check the S-meter on my base station radio. With the FT-60 on medium power (2W), the results were:Stock FT-60 duck - S8Signal Stick - S8-S9This antenna (TWAYRDIO RH660s) - S9+30 dBMy impression is that it’s also an S-unit or two better on Rx - so a bit less impressive on Rx than Tx - but for my use case (trying to hit remote repeaters while hiking) that’s fine because most of the time I can hear the repeater way farther away than it can hear me.The antenna is pretty light despite the length so I’m not too concerned about it damaging my HT’s antenna connector.I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet. I’ll try to remember to update the review sometime in the future. I also ordered another version for my Anytone DMR HT - will update with performance details on that as well.73!

Significant reach
I throw this in my SAR pack for those times when I need that extra edge of signal. Obviously, getting to high ground to improve line of sight is best, but there have been several times where I have deployed this antenna and been able to speak to incident command where other antennas could not.

Works but bent
Antenna works well. I can hit repeaters easily I had trouble with in the past. Antenna was bent from manufacturing and leans to one side.

You definitely gain great distance and reception over stock antenna
Just liked it overall solid piece of equipment

Compatible with QRZ-1
This was the only retractable antenna that I could find that would fit directly onto my HT.Would have preferred one that was a bit more compact, similar to the Nagoya 771R. Performance seems to be quite good. Would recommend.

Doesn't work for my Yaesu
I'll be returning this antenna. It does not screw all the way down so there is potential for extra stress on the sma connector on my radio. Appears pretty well made. I didn't even test it because the fit is unacceptable
