Great for led light strips nice and flexible

I bought the 20 awg x 2 x 100 ft tinned copper spool. I was wary that the product could be fake from some of the reviews. - I measured the resistance of the entire spool for one wire at 1.1 ohms which is consistent with copper of this length. - I also sanded one wire to expose the copper underneath. - Measured wire diameter is on spec for 20 awg. The product I received looks legit.

Great product. Like all silicone insulation, it strips easily. Very soft and flexible, very "forgiving" when you have to bend, etc. My dad worked for GE Silicones for 30 years, and he would have appreciated this product.

Need to exercise care in separating the two strands of this cable at their split-seam. Thinned insulation in this splitting seam zone is still stronger than the tear resistance strength of the insulation covering the wires. If you just pull the conductors apart, the insulation covering one of the conductors gets ripped away, exposing the bare wire! You need to run your fingernail, or some thin, dull, wedge, down that separation seam, to WEDGE (NOT pull) the conductors apart. Good point is that this is silicone insulation, so its very resistant to melting or shrinking back due to the conductor getting hot when soldering! Would, & did, buy angin

Very pliable. Easy to strip and solder. I am creating an LED project and using this as the wire between LED groups.
