A must have
This is an excellent book, full of interesting receipts from ancient arabic magic. It is in no way a "new age" book, with that boring repetition of the same old things. You will not see for the 10000th time descriptions on how to do the LBRPBut be warned that the spells and talismans in this book need some HUGE work. This is not for the ones who think that a spell is just read some lines copied from Charmed.A must have book in magic. Very interesting

A little bit of magic in your everyday life
I am a scientific-minded person, but even I found something rather magical and special about this book. As the author commented in the book, magic is "the art and science of causing reality to confirm to the will". I think we practice this in our everyday lives, whether it is for our own benefits, or for the benefits of others. It really rings true to the words "what you see is what you believe, and what you believe is what you see".I especially enjoyed the words of wisdom that can be found throughout the book, whether it is in the instructions, diagrams or advice given by the author. Things like his comments about prosperity: "It is a blessing and a gift from the realm of spirit. Should you use them and see an improvement in your financial affairs, don't forget the poor and needy of society". Also, the views on love spells: "more energy into the process of receiving than giving", "projection of will and domination... so not real love".There is a lot one can gain from this book. If not for the science and art, then it is certainly written well enough to be enjoyable and enlightening. I would highly recommended this book to anyone who wants to get just a glimpse of the world of magic, but are too afraid to dip their toes in the water.

A pleasant Surprise
I have to start by saying that this book was a bit of a surprise. What I expected was a book detailing the use of the arabic alphabet in traditional magic. Something alot like most books of runes, minus the divination aspect. This book isn't that. What it is, is a sampling of spells and rituals utilizing the arabic aplhabet as a focus for results in Prosperity, Love, and Healing.Normally, I'm irked about spellbooks; I'd rather come up with my own workings, but these are actually quite good. It's real, solid, magick. It also adresses the questions of "Why aren't more magicians wealthy?" and gives a really good perspective on Love spells, and treats that delicate area of magicical practice very ethically. The book is the real deal, nothing fluffy, just good magick. All in all it is a good book, with effective magick. I gave it 4 stars because what it didn't show was the reason I got it in the first place. The powers and uses of the letters themselves to help form your own spells and workings.

Love, Healing and Prosperity Through Occult Powers of the Alphabet.
As one who enjoys a proper read on the theme of magical books I quite liked this one for its amusement and lighthearted approach. Alas I wouldn't apply any of these magic squares and magical alphabets in practice because they take too long. To produce a magic square using complicated time consuming chants to get rid of headaches would only create the headache itself. An off the shelve remedy to cure the headache is quicker and far cheaper than putting into practice the ancient texts described within. Spells for love will never work, unless the reader physically goes out to meet and strike up a conversation with their opposite sex and spells to make money are again down to hard work or striking lucky from the odd gamble. Unfortunate but so true, this advice is contained within the pages from a few books on 'Chaos Magic' I have read and is a part of everyday human nature. I quite liked the artistic methods inside this book, used to make the talismans though. I rate this 2 out of 5.
