Carnation Malted Milk, Dry Shelf Stable Malted Milk, Great for Baking, Shakes, Sundaes, 40 oz Can

I got this for fun, I'm consuming a lot of protein powder these days and I thought this might be a nice change of pace. I wasn't wrong. This is really good malted milk powder, it mixes really well and the flavor is spot on, I really expected nothing less from the brand, and I wasn't disappointed. This took my chocolate protein to Whopper flavor lol I was very pleased. Serving size is listed as 3Tbsp but I'm only using 2 which is more subtle and how I like my malted flavor. This is good stuff.

If purchased at a grocery store, the amount per jar is a lot less and the cost is a lot more than this. This is a product that kids will remember after just one taste.I like making smoothies with it. It’s very simple to do with a blender, a little milk, a little vanilla extract and ice cubes. To the mix you can add protein powder or a banana. I also add a little soy lecithin which acts as an emulsifier. This thickens it.You can experiment with the amount of milk and ice to achieve a frozen desert that tastes much richer than it is. The blender will make the ice cubes mix in very smoothly. If you want something sweet and cold, it’s so simple to make and the flavor is unbelievably good.

We’ve been using this to make waffles that are more crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It also gives waffles a darker golden color, which is very yummy. We just add a small amount and sub out a little flour.

This product arrived in good condition and was the same carnation malted milk that we have known and enjoyed. Could not find it in any of our local stores so good to know that we can still get it.
