Perfect for cockatiels. These are solid inside and look just like real cockatiel eggs. The bird sat on them no problem. At the time I bought them they were the most reasonably priced.

I don’t usually leave reviews. I was very hesitant to buy these for fear they'd be cheap looking and my cockatiel would not take to them. They arrived just when one of her eggs had broken. She'd been laying on 5 infertile eggs for way over the amount of time that hens usually give up. They were going bad. I was able to remove her from her cage for a bit and throw out the real eggs replacing them with these. They are remarkably close to the same size, color, weight, and texture of her real eggs that it's difficult to tell the difference! She went back in her cage and went straight over to these eggs and got them all nestled under her and has been laying on them for hours!

I give four stars because it is stated that they are good for Dove eggs, but a side by side shows that my girl’s eggs are a bit larger. The photo shows hers on the right. Thankfully she didn’t suspect a thing. Upon opening the package I was happy to find that there was no odor and the eggs were very realistic appearing, smooth satin texture with barely any parting lines. They also had some weight to them which was a nice addition. I had been preparing to swap eggs for a bit, so I made sure to be near her nest often and interacting with her while she was in it. I put the fake eggs in my pocket for a bit to warm up and get my scent on them, since I was apparently the other half in this relationship. While she was taking a break from her egg sitting duties and was wandering about the room I quickly swapped the eggs out. She didn’t suspect a thing and calmly went back to arranging the eggs and keeping them warm. Overall I would recommend these for any bird parent to try and slow down egg production.

Our little bird reached age 2 and to our great surprise, out pops an egg, and then another! Obviously couldn't leave them in there. So, replaced her eggs with these. She took right to them, nested and got her through.
