So much fun!!!
10-year old granddaughter loves it! She has good balance and caught on quickly. I want to try it — but first, I need a lot of protective gear.

My son loves it.
I almost broke my tailbone trying it out...and I used to skate. So it was a bit humbling. But get some speed and carve into it and it w9rks. This is sized for a kid and it was for my son and he's already a wiz at it.Not the most efficient way to ride, but it is very fun and you can carve almost like a snowboard, so that's a good time.Just know there is a learning curve, so don't give up on hour one. Even learning to ride a bike takes some time.

Our RipStik is Housebroken!
This is our second ripstick--the first one my kid lost over a year ago. He forgot about the lost one but I didn't and I gave him a new one for Christmas. He was shakey at first when he started trying to use it again, and I wondered whether he would regain interest. Then on a rainy, cold day he realized he could ride it around in circles inside the house, moving through a circuit of rooms around the main floor. We have hardwood floors, so this is do-able. I have been inspecting he floors and do not see wear and tear yet--but I am obviously going to have to put a stop to it if I see scratches or a pattern of wear. I do think this would be better for a house with luxury vinyl planks or ceramic floors. He has steadily improved, only sometimes stumbling at floor transition spots or losing balance while executing a turn, making a loud banging and falling sound. He will gently cruise by me in the afternoons after school, sometimes even checking his phone while I am typing on my keyboard in my office (I tell him to stop). Sometimes he rides through and just talks a bit as he enters and before he exits.

21 Years of age and still loving this!
I bought this product primarily because I missed having fun with this as a child. Having ridden both the adult-sized ripstick (ripstick G) and the ripster, my personal preference would be this one as to me it feels more agile and can maneuver around smaller spaces. It does however feel less stable at higher speeds if going downhill. Regardless, I absolutely love it and the color that I chose. This will for sure make getting to and from classes on my university campus much for enjoyable and cut down on some walking time as well.I received the ripster within 2 weeks and it came as advertised without a scratch. Still made durable as I remember them to be.If you're a parent and looking for some type of gift to get for your kid or even teen, or if you're my age and just wanna get this to have some fun at a skate park or ride around your community; I would still go for this.

Buy it!!
My 9 year old and 12 year old both LOVE riding their rip stick. It's amazing how quickly they learned to balance and use it.I bought one for Christmas for my oldest and then ended up buying a second one for my youngest son, so they could each have their own. Great product.
