A Quality large clog chopper for your sewer snake cable machine!
Guys, This 2.5 in "clog chopper" is the GO-TO item for busting pipe clogs in a 3" or 4" drain/Sewer line. Its round shape easily glides around bends and joints without damaging the pipes. The rounded ball shaped with sharp cutting edges is the perfect design. it is easy to run down the pipe. AND MOST importantly... easy to recover. Nothing worse than a blade type sewer drain cutter getting stuck 35" down a sewer line! I highly recommend this bit if you have a 5/8 or 3/4 sewer snake cable drain cleaner. it may be a bit to heavy for a 1/2 cable. might be ok if you are super carefull?

It worked good
For the most part it worked great for clearing some roots. I got a good amount of roots out of the pipe but it did get stuck easy. I got stuck at one point and had to did up the pipe to get it unstuck.

Cut through thick problem roots in my 4" main line with no issues. I only wish I would have bought this 18 years ago when I bought this house. Insert, rotate and let the tool do the work. Nothing could be easier. Delivery estimate was a week, only took two days to arrive. This purchase exceeded my expectation in every way. Got roots? Get this. Nothing more to say.

It's a brute!
Get an insane quote for hydrjetting and/or excavating to fix a clogged pipe? Probably worth trying this first.A tool the plumber should have had and tried, but he was insistent on excavating next to our septic and hydrojetting up to the main inlet to the tune of 6 grand. I said thanks for your time, bought a $400 Harbor Freight power feed drain auger and this tool, cleared my pipe in about a half hour and haven't had a problem since. That was months ago. And even if the pipes clog again, it's a quick, easy fix now without an expensive plumber visit.
