My family love this game
I bought this primarily for my Mother as she's quite a quiz buff, especially in the realm of movie and TV trivia. This game is great fun, you can play either the casual version or competitive. The casual version plays through questions and you simply answer, this is more for large gatherings like parties to add a little fun.The competitive version uses a game board with pieces, you work your way around the board until you get to the last 5 stages, essentially you want to get stage 5 correct, it's a case of giving 5 answers for one question, if you fail, you move to stage 4, which is 4 answers for one question, all the way to stage 1, which is a single answer. The questions themselves are quite varied, and since the game is website driven, they're updated often. You also get questions cards. To determine the question type, you roll a dice, whatever symbol it lands on correlates to a question type.Overall, a very fun game, and since it updates online, we never feel it's too repetitive.

Good family fun, but internet dependent
We picked this up on sale for a family game night, and it ended up being quite popular. The board game itself is quite standard for a trivia game - you roll two dice, one with a number and one with a symbol, then move the number of spaces indicated by the first dice and do the action on the second. The actions range from generic questions from a card to the game's main gimmick - video clip questions. These come in a variety of formats, with some questions being surprisingly difficult even if you're familiar with the movie in question. The variety of question types is pretty good, and it felt like there was also a good mix of genres and older and newer movies. The board game supports 2-4 players, but if you have more (or less) you have two options - we chose to play in teams because we aren't huge movie buffs, but the website also has a 'party' mode, which just asks random questions endlessly and can be played without the board game.Since this game depends on a cloud service, I do have concerns about it being shut down eventually - rendering the board game functionally useless as the game can't be played without the online component. The online requirement does introduce some potential benefits too though - namely the option to improve the game. I'd really like to see them add a bit more configurability since right now you're effectively stuck with 1 question timer and no control over question categories, making it tough for younger players to compete. Being able to select the timer length and genre that a question will use would go a long way to making it easier for kids to play along.

Very American
Lots of films that none of our group knew. Seems to be aimed very much at the American market

Waste of money
Took ages to set up and when finally working got half way round the board and the online questions just constantly repeat themselves. The same question each time. Completely pointless and does not work. Then when it froze tried to reload and it wanted the game activation code again. I entered this and came up as invalid game code and will not work, feels like I’ve wasted my money

Dvd kept freezing
Unfortunately had to restart the game several times as the dvd repeatedly froze. Great game and variety of movies on the clips but overall was frustrating with the technical difficulties.
