The monitor is gorgeous for basic use.
I got this monitor to match my ASUS Zenbook laptop, and it works perfect for my needs. I just needed an extra larger screen for using software with large windows like DAWS (Pro Tools, etc) and other content creation (digital art). I do some gaming casually, but mostly RPG's and nothing needing fast refresh rates or competitive online play. For me, this monitor looks incredible with the visuals and has awesome settings and built in technologies like ACSR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) and Vivid Pixel modes. I've tested some high definition videos at 60HZ and the monitor has great smooth refresh rates with no ghosting thanks to it's Trace Free mode setting. My games look stunning and the monitor has accurate colors and good brightness.About the monitor, one thing I must note to those who buy it, when I opened the box I thought that my product came defective because the standing hinge was pushed all the way forward for packaging and felt like it was stuck. I was afraid to tilt the monitor upwards because the thin panel felt like it might've cracked, however I found a lot of people online had this same experience and assured that with a bit of strength you can pop the monitor stand right out just fine and then it's very easy to adjust and tilt after that. It's probably just a lock mechanism thing. If you're looking for a monitor for gaming, you should not be looking at this product. Find a monitor with G-Sync/Freesync and either a good TN or VA panel for better and higher refresh rates and response times. If you're looking for a monitor with good size and color accuracy for media consumption, this one fits the bill really well because of it's price and high quality. If you're looking for a monitor for content creation, you could probably find a monitor with a higher sRGB accuracy maybe, but I think this one looks just fine and has plenty of settings to adjust on the OSD.The monitor has built in speakers but they're nothing better than a standard low-mid range cellphone speakers. It's okay for listening to basic videos, but nothing for music and such of course. Nice addition, but I honestly won't be using them. This is my first ASUS monitor product purchase and I'm very impressed and happy with this one.

Very nice monitor
Just got this monitor for my wife. Much better picture quality than the Asus VP228 that I will be returning (I bought her the black VP228 and she wanted the white monitor). I did not expect a great deal of difference between the picture of the two monitors, but it was immediately noticeable that the VZ has a better picture. This monitor, VZ239H-W, is also very cool/modern looking. Side-by-side, I can see why she didn't want the 'classic black' one. lolArrived early; well-packaged with all the cables you need (VGA and/HDMI). Assembles very easily. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to tilt it back. It come tilted all the way forward upon assembly. The instructions clearly state not to grab it by by the top, as there is no bezel. The trick is to assemble it, turn it backwards, hold it in the bottom corners and use increasing force until the monitor 'snaps' backwards into place. Once it does that, it's easy (or at least easier) to tilt it to the most desirable angle. I mention this because it took more pressure than I expected, Never had one that was this tight.

Lots of misleading reviews…
This monitor is a great monitor but there are a lot of misleading reviews. A lot of people posted 1 star reviews thinking they got a faulty product and the monitor wasnt assembled coreectly however it is supposed to come exactly how the picturs show it. I thought it was a flaw initailly as well however this is completely normal and all you have to do is lay the monitor face down on a flat surface and force it into place for lack of a better term. Yes it feels like you might break the monitor but it isnt going to break. I had it assembled and on in ten minutes. Easy set up and looks so aesthetically pleasing.

The stand isn’t a malfunction
I bought this as a second monitor to work from home. The picture quality is great, I run photoshop on it well. (Had to blur out my discord)I did see a lot of complaints that the stand is made incorrectly by the manufacturer and at first I thought it was but I YouTubed fixing this issue. The monitor is made very sturdy so that bottom part may be hard to move but you can adjust it, just careful push it in and back- took me a few tries but it worked. If you assemble it and the monitor is facing the ground you’ll need to do this.

50/50 CHANCE ITLL WORK
Take My Warning: DONT buy this UNLESS you have TWO WEEKS to waste on returning and asking for a second replacement!I was recently hired for an online job, and I needed a second monitor. I ordered this last week, and I was excited when it arrived, BUT to my DISAPPOINTMENT, the neck was flopped DOWN! There’s no way to adjust it without almost braking it. I don’t get frustrated easy so I marked it as a faulty product and asked for a replacement. No biggie, I’ll just get another one, right? WRONG. The replacement arrived, and I was relieved because I officially start work in 2 days. But when I opened the box, ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT. The neck was flopped facing down AGAIN! At this point, I’m going to start my first day with no monitor to work on! I am going to be RETURNING BOTH FAULTY MONITORS and have purchased a monitor from a different company. I don’t have anymore time to waste waiting to get one of the well manufactured ones.****MY ADVICE: DONT PURCHASE this if you are short on time and need a good working monitor asap. ITS A 50/50 chance that you’ll get a good one. PURCHASE A MONITOR SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!…unless you have time to waste, which many of us do not.****For Reference: The first three pictures are of the disappointing replacement and the last five pictures are of the terrible first order.
