These are terrible knockoffs of the real item. They wouldn't stay charged for more than half a day then you would need to spend at least 24 hours recharging. Both stopped working within 10 days. Would definitely not recommend.

The material seems very weak. The charge didnot start when arrived, ater few hard push on the battery slot and the pin on the dock it started. I don’t expect that it works for couple of months. Hope, I’m wrong

We live out in the country, we have livestock, and so do our neighbors. So flies are a serious issue where we live. Like, for real!!! We had an old school version of this fly zapper and we misplaced it during the peak of fly season, a couple months ago. I was pretty upset at first, so I got these to replace it, and let me tell ya... Misplacing that old fly zapper was the BEST THING it could've ever happened!! This fly zapper is AMAZING!!! It is super, super light weight, a perfect size that fits nicely on your hand. You can quickly zap flies and wasps. It packs a punch too! Compared to the old crap we had, it's like going from a little old Honda to a Ferrari. Light and Day!! So worth it. Oh, as for moskitos and gnats... They pretty much disintegrate as soon as it touches them. I love that it has 2 set ups: squeeze to zap, and my favorite "on all the time". The latter makes it so, so, sooooo easy to simply swing and kill. Also, the battery on these guys last foreeeeever. I charged them when I first got them, and HAVE NOT had to do it again yet. Pretty amazing for something we use several times a day, every single day. We've never had so much "fun" with the flies. LOL And we've never had so little flies in the house during this time of the year. Best buy ever!!! Highly recommend it. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

I am so pleased with this device! I received it in brand new condition wrapped in plastic. Every time I hear a zap, my family laughs as I say, "Got 'em!" I read a review that said the base was not stable, but I purchased a twin pack and both have been secure on the base. They seem to work best on the base. I took one in the yard with me for the mosquitoes and had the setting "on" with the constant glow. It was zapping like crazy, but only lasted for about 15 minutes before the battery needed recharging. The second time I tried it, I set it to "on" without the constant glow. With that setting, you need to hold down the button where the grip of your hand is. The battery lasted longer, but I was not hands free. It worked great in the yard on the base and near plants that attracted lots of fruit flies. Since setting this up, all I'm doing is sweeping in a dust pan what was zapped! I plan to purchase another set to keep outside to take care of the mosquitoes. Hoping for a longer battery life when not on the base, but other than that, effective zapper! Love it!
