Blackthorn TuffTec Rigid Canvas Tool Bag - 19.25 Inch Heavy Duty w/Easy Access Wide Mouth Opening & Protective Cover

This review is for Blackthorn Tool Bag by Blackthorn Gear item # B01N369VA9. It measures 19" long, 10" wide, and 12" height.I bought it for my husband for his express handyman bag. There are a lot of pockets inside and outside the bag. It is really heavy duty, solid built. My husband was so excited and started to load it up, with tons of stuff it it, I have a hard time to lift the bag, there are still plenty of room left. The center grab is non slip. With all the heavy tools, not sure how long the handle will stay in tack with the bag. Overall, he is really happy with the bag.

This product is well thought out - it's big with lots of pockets for tools and such. Whoever designed this either works a lot with tools OR spoke with a lot of people who work with tools. The challenge is with the "quality of the build." As you can see from the first 2 photos, the stitching is erratic - the stitch goes up and down and sometimes misses its target. From the second picture you can see that the seams sometimes don't match up. The third picture is the metal handle which is riveted into the side. Unfortunately, it's loose and you can't tighten it up. That makes it "wobbly." While I don't think this was manufactured in someone's garage over the the weekend, I don't think whoever manufactured it has robust quality control systems in place. I have no confidence this tool bag will hold up for any length on time on a job site. Finally, you will notice that within about 2 or so weeks, there were 15 reviews all with 5 stars. That makes me suspicious even if they are "verified purchases." So, here's the first one with less than 5 stars. I am returning the product and will go to one of the "home stores" to see the tool bags for myself.

I love this Tool bag. It is made very well. The material is very strong and so is the metal handle. It has several pockets which allows for easy organization of tools or whatever you decide. I am using this in my car to keep it neat and organized. It's a great size, not too big or too small. I would recommend this product.

This is a really great tool bag. The frame and material are very sturdy, despite being canvas material. There are several pockets outside and inside to keep things organized, with plenty of room left inside for larger objects. There is an attached strap you can use to carry it on your shoulder that is very convenient. I know it has the dimensions listed on the site, but it is a lot larger than I expected it to be-- which is a good thing. My husband can't wait to use this for work! Great product!

Great bag, lots of pockets, inside and out, to hold everything imaginable. So many bags are pocket poor these days as they are more expensive to manufacture. If anything it may be too big, if I was fill it with everything I need it would be way too heavy for me to carry, Everything is easy access, and visible. The shoulder strap, often not found on other tool bags make for easy carrying while keeping hands free. I would definitely recommend to others and will probably be adding it to my Christmas shopping list.

My boyfriend loves it everything fits. And it keeps everything organized.

A great way to keep organized for any craft.

Perfect size. I get lost in the pockets. Lots of them and well used. The bag is pretty big and keep putting stuff in it. It got a little bit heavy.
