This is a fantastic book to journal or for your bible studies notes. Book comes with a pen. The 720 pages are lined and has weekday boxes to check off, place for dating and area for memo notation number. The faux leather cover is nice and sturdy and 2 ribbon book marks. The pages have sewn binding and lays flat when open. The papers are a nice thickness so the pen or marker will not bleed thru. The book overall feels quality made. With these many pages, it is sure to last me the year.

I use several journals daily for different things and this is by far my favorite. Not only is it perfect size for carrying in a purse or any bag, it just feels good in your hand. The cover is soft and looks amazing and takes a real beating if you carry it. The paper feels good for writing and soaks up ink fast, even with thick ink (though it can leak thru if you use gel pen or heavier inks for fountain pens). I bought one and filled it from cover to cover and now I’ve nearly filled up another and on to the third. Perfect little journal!

My favorite Notebooks! Just ordered some more. It's so hard to find a good notebook with a lot of pages. That's totally the best one. And it's not very heavy ,which i love.

I WAS COUNTING THE PAGES AND PRESSING THEM DOWN ONE BY ONE HOPING THAT MAYBE THIS IS WHY THE OTHERS COMPLAINED THAT THE BINDING AND COVERS TORE. BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO MINE AND I HAVEN'T EVEN WRITTEN IN IT YET OR EVEN HAD IT A DAY. I WAS SOOO SAD BECAUSE I ALMOST bought another one for a gift, but when I saw and read all the reviews I decided to wait until I received mine and had it for a while. The paper seems well sewn in and I have 22 lines to a page. and all this is super nice, "BUT" VERY SAD THAT A COMPANY WOULD WRITE SUCH GLOWING ACCOLADES ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT AND THEN NOT FIX IT!!!!! HERE ARE A FEW OF THE THINGS THAT MISLEAD US AS BUYERS! 1) THEY WENT OVERBOARD IN CLAIMING HOW STRONG THE BINDING WAS WHEN ACTUALLY IT IS A SUPER THIN COVER GLUED TOGETHER WITH SIMPLY ANOTHER PIECE OF THEIR PAGES AND A SUPER THIN CARDBOARD OF SOME KIND MORE LIKE PAPERBACK, 2)THEY ALSO BRAGGED ABOUT HOW ELEGANT THE GIFT BOX WAS - IN REALITY, IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A SHINY PIECE OF SUPER THIN CARDBOARD. IT IS CRUSHED ON ALL FOUR CORNERS AND WAS TORN ON THE FLAP THAT FOLDED INSIDE THE BOX BEFORE IT WAS EVER SHIPPED. IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN SITTING ON A SHELF WITH A LOT OF OTHER BOOKS ON IT FOR MONTHS OR YEARS. AND WAS VERY DUSTY AND DIRTY, 3) ONCE AGAIN THEY SHOW YOU A PRETTY GOLD-LOOKING PEN AND SA'S HOW ELEGANT AND HIGH QUALITY THE PENMANSHIP IS AS IT WRITES SO SMOOTHLY. WHEN IN REALITY, IT IS SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE IT IS FROM A GAG BOX OR THE DOLLAR STORE. IT IS SOOO SHORT THAT IT BARELY FITS IN MY HAND WHICH MAKES WRITING DIFFICULT. WHEN I GOT THROUGH PEELING OFF ALL THE RED WAX-LIKE SUBSTANCE OFF THE END AND STARTED WRITING AFTER ONLY WRITING FIVE OR SIX WORDS, IT STARTED SKIPPING LIKE MAD. I GUESS THEY WERE CORRECT ON TWO THINGS, IT WROTE SMOOTHLY BUT YOU HAD TO KEEP REWRITING OVER IT. AND THE BEST PART OF THE BOOK WAS THE PAGES THEMSELVES. THEY ARE GREAT!!, THEY ARE WELL SEWN IN, AND THE LINES ARE GREAT, I GET AS I SAID 22 LINES ON FRON AND BACK OF EACH PAGE. THERE ISA A SMALL NOTION LINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE FOR MEMO NO. --------- AND UNDER THAT A SPACE FOR THE DATE. ON THE LEFT IT HAS LITTLE BOXES FOR MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA SU, ALSO JUST ABOVE THESE DAYS ARE SMALL ICONS FOR SUNNY, CLOUDY, RAINY, AND SNOW, THE PAPER ALSO IS OF GREAT QUALITY. NOT CARD STOCK, NOT BIBLE PAPER, AND NOT NOTEBOOK THIN, JUST GREAT. I HAVE JUST ONE QUESTION, WHY WITH ALL THESE GREAT QUALITIES, WOULD A COMPANY NOT PUT A NEW BINDING AND COVER, ADD A DECENT-LOOKING PEN OR SIMPLY REMOVE IT, ADD A NICE STURDY ATTRACTIVE GIFT BOX, AND HAVE A GIFT ONE COULD BE PROUD TO BUY FOR A GIFT OR THEMSELVES AND LET ALL THIS FONY ADVERTISEMENT BECOME THE REAL TRUTH. AND THEN PEOPLE WOULD BE STANDING IN LINE TO ORDER THESE BOOKS. ??? THAT IS THE QUESTION!!! I WILL KEEP THIS BECAUSE OF ALL THE GOOD QUALITIES AND HOPE I CAN FIX THE COVER SO IT WILL HOLD UP BUT NEVER EVER WOULD I PURCHASE THIS FOR A GIFT!! IF I DID AND IT TORE (AND IT WILL) AS FAST AS MINE DID AND THEY TOOK ONE LOOK AT THIS PEN AND THE SMASHED , SO-CALLED GIFT BOX??? IT WOULD MAKE THEM THINK ONE THING?? CHEAPO, TRYING TO LOOK LIKE A MILLION BUT WOUND UP BEING EMBARRASSED. WHEN THE RECEIVER HAD TO SAY WHEN ASKED HOW THEY LIKED THE JOURNAL NOTEBOOK? THEY HAD TO SAY, UH , YEAH, UH, ABOUT THAT, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT? IT TORE BEFORE I EVEN WROTE MY NAME IN IT , SORRY DUDE, YOU GOT TAKEN, WELL THAT'S MY REVIEW. I FEEL SOO SAD TO HAVE TO WRITE THIS BECAUSE I LOOK FOR FINDING REVIEWS I CAN RAVE ABOUT AND HELP EVERY COMPANY I CAN IN THESE TOUGH TIMES, BUT THIS JUST NEEDED TO BE SAID PRAYING THE COMPANY WILL TAKE ALL OUR ADVISE AND MAKE THEIR BOOK A WINNER . Disappointed. Its for me so I'll keep it but I wouldn't give this as a gift.

Nice notebook but the pen that came with it is garbage, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I use it for Bible study and I love that it has a place to check off the day of the week and what the weather is like. Super cute, but the next time I purchase one it will be the one without the pen.

I have a few of these books now, the pen that came with this was a cheap ballpoint type pen, but surprisingly came with a liquid ink, not a ballpoint ink so it's a decent writer. I love thick books, this journal has two page markers, creamy paper, date stamps etc. Overall it's a good value for the price.
