Finally got the chance to use these so far as daily liners. I will start by saying that reusable pads are not for everyone. However, i wanted to give these a try to save money and have less waste. To my surprise they are comfortable and not as icky as you may imagine. Ofcourse since theyre re-usable, there is a process to cleaning but its not complicated. I personally like to presoak my soiled pads with some detergent, although their intructions states you dont need to. Then i wash and dry as you would in the machine. I actually think these are more comfortable than disposable pads. Only thing that may annoy some people is that it can move and shift while you are using the toilet and you have your underwear down. So you’ll need to re-position the pad. But i dont find that too annoying for myself and its quick to do. Otherwise, i would totally recommend! Also, theyre healthier for your bodies as it does not contain harmful chemicles that some pads may have.

I bought these for 3 of my daughters, not knowing whether it was a good idea or not? We have been going more "natural" with a lot of things like our food, etc. over the last few years so I thought I'd give these a go and as it turned out all three of them absolutely love them. They're easy to take care of (clean) and they feel so much nicer than a store-bought pad. So these are great and are now saving me money every month because no one is buying pads or tampons anymore. Give them a try!

I will make this review as detailed as I can. Here's some info about me that may be helpful. My period lasts 5 days. My bleeding is light to moderate depending on the day, and I'm very thin (around 95lbs). I don't have any disorders, diseases, etc that affect my cycle, and I've only used disposable pads up until now. I don't workout, so I'm unsure of how well these hold up when doing vigorous activities. I usually change my pad 2-4 times a day.APPEARANCEI bought the medium pack of 6. They are around 8" or 9" long. There were 2 of each color (mustard yellow, gray, and green). They have grips on the bottom that are supposed to prevent shifting. It's the same rubber stuff you find on the bottom of socks sometimes. The wings are not in the center. They're towards the top and they have 2 buttons so you can make them fit around your undies looser or tighter.The wet bag that comes with it is small enough to fit in a moderate sized purse and it fits about 4 pads inside once you fold them up. It comes with a little paper that explains how they work, how to fold them after use, and how to wash them.COVERAGEI'm a stomach sleeper, so at times I have leaking at the top of my underwear towards my belly. However, I've never had this problem while standing upright until I wore these.I didn't stain my underwear while wearing these. However, I kept noticing streaks of blood at the top edge of the pad, so I dodged leakage by a centimeter multiple times throughout the day and night. Either the medium size doesn't have enough coverage for me or the issue is this: I saw 1 review complaining about the wing placement being towards the top rather than at the center. This is a problem. I believe that's why blood is gathering at the top of the pad and nearly causing leakage even when I'm not laying on my stomach. To help avoid this, what I did was pull the pad further up my vulva. This creates less protection for your butt though, so it's not an amazing solution.These are a bit thick for my liking. Also, despite there being grips on the bottom, it slides towards your butt occassionally. I just wear tighter underwear to keep it more secure. It's tolerable.SMELLThe pad itself well smell like whatever you used to wash it. When using it, the only thing you will smell is the scent of your own blood and body odor. Depending on the person and their hygiene, that may or may not be noticeable or bad. Speaking of body odor, these pads are not super breathable. I sweat a lot, especially at night. So, I'm not too happy with wearing pads in general because of that.ABSORBANCYThe absorbancy is great. I have no complaints. The 1st day of my period is pretty light, then it gets heavier over night and onto the 2nd day. I started my period in the afternoon and was able to wear it until noon the next day. I don't know if it can last longer. I didn't want to go that long without changing it.WASHINGWith any reusable pad, it's recommended that you wash them before 1st time use. A google search or the instructions paper they provide with the pads can give you info on how to wash them properly. However, I was too lazy to read as there were many different answers to this online and the paper, to my knowledge, did not address how to combat stains.When I 1st got them, I put them in the washing machine with laundry detergent. No bleach. They came out fine. No damage. Then, I layed them across my dresser to let them air dry. They were completely dry within a full 24hrs or so, and my bedroom is a bit cooler than room temp.Immediately after I finished using 1, I drenched it with cold water and gently scrubbed at the blood stains with an old toothbrush. I did this until the stains were as faded as possible. I squeezed the pads until the water ran clear to make sure any blood absorbed into the 2nd layer was removed. A lot of blood came out. It looked like I was dumping a bowl of blood into the drain. I was impressed because it didn't seem like it absorbed that much. I felt dry the whole time I wore the pad.Then, I put them in the washing machine with laundry detergent as soon as I could. No bleach. To prevent blood from setting in the fabric, I kept the pads wet with cold water and in an open bag until I could throw them in the washing machine. If you will keep them wet, it's important you keep them in an airy environment so you don't get that mildew or rotten scent going on. They were left like this for about 4 days.After throwing them in the wash, I let them air dry. Doing this caused no damage. However, stains were left behind, so leaving them wet for days didn't work (as I suspected lol). They were much lighter than before, but still noticeable since these pads are light colored.I don't prefer staining but it is what it is. They're pads that no one will see other than me. I was too lazy to do the extra work to throughly remove and prevent the stains. If staining bothers you like it does for me, I recommend buying dark colored pads. None of my dark gray pads I got from another seller have visible stains.OVERALL THOUGHTSI've been looking for ways to save money, be comfy, and worry free during my period. This was my 1st time using reusable pads after hearing so many good things about them, and it's going to take some getting used to. For the 1st 2 days of my period, I found myself wishing that I bought disposable pads instead. Then by the end of my period, I was okay with them.The reason why I initially didn't like them is because I was annoyed with soaking and rinsing the pads right after use. It's of course more work than just removing a disposable pad and tossing it in the trash. I found an easier solution which is rinsing my used pads while I'm in the shower. That made it less annoying, but there are instances where I can't always do this such as when I've already taken a shower earlier and need to change my pad again.I briefly read online that it's best to rinse reusable pads immediately to avoid staining, but considering that I won't always be by a shower or appropriate sink to do this, staining is inevitable (maybe unless you know a special technique to get them out).Overall, I SOMEWHAT recommend these specific pads if you don't mind the minimal coverage, wing placement, thickness, and light color which makes staining more obvious. I won't be buying these again. Here is why.Along with these, I bought some more from a different seller and I prefer those a lot more. The other ones have more coverage, have their wing placement in the center, are dark gray so the stains may be harder to see, and they're thinner thus more comfortable to wear. When I scrub it with a toothbrush, it also seems like the stains come off easier. Instead of keeping those wet, I just rinse them and throw them right in my laundry basket with other dirty clothes, but I make sure they stay on top for atleast a day so they are getting air to dry. Overall, using those put me more at ease.

I was hesitant to make the switch to reusable menstrual products but I've been wanting to switch to natural alternatives that are safer for the body and the environment, so I decided to take the plunge with an affordable option.I definitely don't have the heaviest flow (the first two days are usually the worst) but these were surprisingly comfortable, kept me dry, and the smell was significantly less so compared to disposable pads and even tampons, enough that I was genuinely surprised. Very easy to clean, and love the silicon dots to help secure the pads in place. I used one overnight and despite my usual tossing and turning there was zero mess to wake up to. I would definitely recommend using cotton underwear that has a very snug fit to help keep these in place as well. It's nice that there are affordable options out there without having to compromise quality. The L size pads are basically the perfect fit for daily wear but if my flow was heavier I'd probably opt for the XL size especially for overnight use. If you're wanting to make a switch and aren't sure where to start, I'd definitely recommend this brand.

I've been using the XL for about 5 months now and I just bought a second set! They are very comfortable, and stay in place during the day and while I sleep. I have a heavy flow for the first 3 days of my cycle and I haven't had issues with leaks. They wash very well, and I'm glad I decided to try them out. I do not miss plastic pads!
