The camera’s weatherproof casing makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, standing up well to the elements without compromising its performance.PerformanceThe camera’s 4K resolution delivers exceptionally clear and detailed footage, allowing you to capture every detail with stunning clarity. This high-definition quality is particularly beneficial for identifying faces, license plates, or any fine details within the camera’s view. The ultra-wide-angle lens is a standout feature, offering a broad 122-degree field of view. This wide angle significantly reduces blind spots and ensures that a large area is covered with a single camera, which can be especially useful for monitoring large spaces or capturing expansive outdoor views.WiFi ConnectivityThe REOLINK 4K Camera’s WiFi connectivity is reliable and straightforward to set up. The camera integrates seamlessly with the REOLINK app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices. The app provides real-time viewing, motion detection alerts, and easy access to recorded footage, making remote monitoring a breeze. While the WiFi connection generally provides stable performance, it’s worth noting that the quality of the signal can be affected by the distance from your router or any obstructions. For optimal performance, placing the camera within range of a strong WiFi signal is recommended.FeaturesNight Vision: The camera is equipped with advanced infrared LEDs that offer impressive night vision capabilities. It provides clear images even in complete darkness, which is crucial for 24/7 surveillance.Two-Way Audio: The built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way communication, allowing you to listen and speak through the camera. It also offers cloud storage options for those who prefer an off-site backup.Ease of UseSetting up the REOLINK 4K WiFi Security Camera is straightforward thanks to the intuitive app and clear instructions provided. The camera’s user interface is easy to navigate, and features like live view, playback, and settings adjustments are accessible with just a few taps.DurabilityThe camera’s build quality is robust, with weatherproofing that ensures it can handle various environmental conditions. Its durable design makes it a reliable choice for long-term use, whether installed indoors or exposed to outdoor elements.DrawbacksWhile the REOLINK 4K WiFi Security Camera is a strong performer overall, it does have a few minor drawbacks:WiFi Dependence: The camera’s performance is dependent on a stable WiFi connection. Users in areas with weak WiFi signals might experience connectivity issues.Limited PTZ Functionality: Unlike some other high-end security cameras, this model does not offer pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) capabilities, which can be a limitation if you need to cover multiple areas with a single camera.

Current favorite security cameras, I have 3 of them
I would say these are a more advanced security camera than the average product. To get this out of the way, I would only recommend these for the intermediate or higher user, not a beginner. Because of setup, options, operations, I would only say this is for the user that has at least a little technical ability and experience. I've seen a lot of people on the reviews have issues with setup and other things, this is purely because they are a beginner. So now that's out of the way..This is the best brand I've seen for what I was looking for in a security camera. This makes nest, ring and all the other popular camera look like amateur hour. The only thing I can say I would change on these is adding activity zones and allowing an easier way to change the wifi ssid in case things go wrong or something was incorrectly typed. The biggest negative of this type of camera is the wifi setup, not because it's hard or anything, but because for initial setup and if something goes wrong with the wifi password, you must hook it back up to ethernet and reconfigure it once again. This is one of my main reasons also to not recommend this to beginners. This is actually a security feature to prevent your camera system from being compromised, it is an advanced feature, but it makes it harder to reconfigure if you are not able to change wifi from the app.Regardless of this downfall, this is my favorite camera series, the duo line. I have two duo floodlights and then this duo wifi. It is weatherproof, it does shed rain. I saw that reolink has even said that these might be able to operate in -25f degree conditions because the camera itself produces heat. The official temp range of the camera is about 14f+. A bit too low for canadians or people higher up on the latitude, but let's just hope reolink was accurate in saying -25f is possible. For setup you simply just have to follow instructions. Unfold the paper, lay it out and read over it. Then read over it again until it makes sense to you. Just take it slow snd you will be fine. It asks you to plug in the camera for both DC power and ethernet to the router.I highly suggest getting the home hub, especially if you have more than one camera. After plugging in the camera, the app will further guide you. It will ask for your wifi and then you will pretty much be done. You will see a video feed on the app and then I suggest creating a reolink account for the app. Again, app setup is not for beginners, it is not as easy as things like nest and ring cams. Nevertheless, after getting used to how reolink does things, I think the setup makes sense and works in some cases better than other cameras especially for multiple cams.Physical install is the easiest part, use a level and predrill holes. The viewing angle on these are the most attractive feature. It makes motion cams obsolete and insufficient. You can't go back to normal cameras after using 180deg dual cams. The software setup has all the features you would want and a lot of the settings are adjustable. Things like motion sensitivity, human sensitivity, animal, vehicle, etc all adjustable.Another complaint I saw in the reviews was false alarms. Well in the settings you can turn the sensitivity down so it doesn't become a problem. I don't think most people even dive into all the settings honestly. In my experience, false alarms are not a problem after proper configuration and this will take a little time. Just observe when there are false alarms and adjust the proper setting. Rinse and repeat until done.If you aren't patient or just don't want to deal with finely tuning this thing, don't buy it and don't give it an unnecessarily low review when this product is perfectly fine for the more technical crowd. The Ai does a good job of identifying what it needs to as long as you properly adjusted the settings to your specific environment and needs. It does come with a super long power cable, about 15ft, then you have a few feet for the plug. If it's too short still, it's time for sn extension plug. There are in depth reviews on this product widely available online. I suggest getting familiar with the setup and then the features, because this will show you what to expect and if this product is even a good fit for you. Again, do not buy this camera if you are a beginner, get fussy over technical setups, or have issues with patience.Highly recommended camera if it fits your needs and your skill level.
