BOMGE USB Audio Interface(32bit/192 kHz) with XLR,phantom power,Direct Monitoring,Loopback for PC Recording,Streaming,Guitarist,Vocalist and Podcasting

I bought this after buying a different brand which had low output and headphone output didn't work properly. I was hesitant about this but figured I would give it a try. It arrived quickly and setup was easy. The headphone output works for monitoring and is very powerful. I use it for streaming with a PLayAcoustic for mike and guitar which I run out to the mike inputs. Again the inputs are powerful as well so I have them set on 4 and they are loud enough with no distortion. The loopback works great for the tracks I use from the computer. The output knob drives the monitor speaker outs and again is powerful enough. For around $50 this is a great little mixer. There is no software or effects but for this price it is great for podcasting, streaming ( if you have an effects box for vocal /guitar) and recording. I liked it so much I bought 2. Just in case I need a backup.

I have several expensive DAW’s, but I needed a simple portable IO solution. This interface has great specs, and a great price. I’m pretty sure this is a Behringer designed product. It’s super easy to configure. The ONE major flaw is that the cheap USB cable provided is horrible. I noticed while routing the cables, that when I “touched” the USB cable, it was “microphonic ” and you could hear noise in the speakers. When I replaced the original USB cable with a decent quality one, the problem was gone. And the cheap cable was discarded. It’s all good now!

I purchased this to get quality sound for a reasonable price. I use it with my Arturia KeyLab 49. (A) Plug in the BOMGE using the USB cable to the LAPTOP. Make sure in the rear to change the setting LOOP BACK: ON (B) KeyLab 49 Midi Settings (AudioLab V): Audio Driver: Windows Audio Exclusive / Audio Device: Headphones - 2 Bomge USB / Input CH: 1 +2 / Buffer: 480 sample / Sample Rate: 44100 Hz With these settings - I have crisp sound. Do NOT Turn up the sound all the way on the headphone dial. Start Playing and increase until it's where you need it. Someone recommended a better USB cable - I have coming via Amazon - but the one I have did work on this inital setup to make sure it works and functions as I need it in my home recording studio - and YES, it did! I'm sure these setting are the same for IV and Ableton Lite 12. See PHOTO - The USB goes directly to the Laptop and the Headphones plug into the FRONT. The external Speakers are not hooked up. The power comes from the laptop to power the Bomge (Right side of laptop/ BLACK USB cable). The WHITE USB cable is from the Laptop to KeyLab. RED cable is the headphones.

Purchased this unit to digitized some vinyl. Was looking at a few other units but kept coming back to this one for the price. Very happy with the purchase. My setup is a Lafayette turntable, into a Fosi audio box phono amp then into the Bomge then into my laptop via USB. Sound recording seems to be spot on when listened with my tube amp.

The USB ports on this thing are so cheap that the cables barely fit. I actually damaged one of my cables and threw it away. I've never seen such a cheap USB port. DOn't buy this it is a waste of time and will possibly damage your other equipment.

Delivered today ordered Tuesday, very sturdy built, hooked it up to my daw and it sounds as good or better than my name brand focus rite, I can't tell the difference.

I have experience with computers and with audio input devices/DAW. These are a good entry-level input that will get you going quickly ON A WINDOWS/MAC COMPUTER. When they say they work on these, they’re not lying. The problem is that I have been relying on Ubuntu for my DAW. Looking up the information, there seems to be no information for drivers/kernel available for Ubuntu/LINUX. I would love to see more support for other OS rather than relying on the auto-recognition. Testing this, I used a SM57 straight in and on a track in Reaper. Great sound quality. The preamps work well and produce no annoying noise (*cough like the Behringer mixer I had). Haven’t tried this on a condenser yet. I will be attempting soon. Ultimately, for having a cost efficient audio input, this is awesome. Good value for what you get. I’d say if you were looking for a good alternative to an expensive input and weren’t doing anything professionally, this is a must have.
