I am so glad I ordered these. They are always the first choice in our house for ice cream, yogurt, rice pudding cups, and other various snacks. They get every last bit out of the cup or container and scrape the sides of a cup or bowl perfectly. They also hold up well in the dishwasher. I bought more for Christmas gifts. I think everyone needs these great quality spoons!

I really like the weight and feeling of this scoop. Along with a slightly sharp front edge, it makes scooping through hard ice cream very easy. No more having to wait for ice cream to soften first. I also like the super shiny finish. I wash and dry it by hand so it maintains its mirror finish.

These spoons are well made, but they are relatively lightweight. The spoon end measures 1.5" long, and 1" wide at the edge, which tapers toward the handle. Nice for children or for spooning sugar etc, but a bit on the small side for most adults.

Most ice cream spades are made of raw aluminum. They do the job, but if you put one in the dishwasher the caustic detergent used in those machines will, eventually, dissolve your spade. It's a chemical reaction, you can't help it. Those can only be hand washed.This is made of stainless steel. You could keep it in a bucket of dishwasher detergent and not mess it up. It spades ice cream neither better nor worse than an aluminum one, but being able to run it through the dishwasher makes this a worthwhile purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The description is WRONG. It is not stainless steel. It is chrome plated zinc. It's shiny but you can see the surface is rough under the chrome. Has some good weight to it. Good feel. The rim of the scoop is tapered. Should easily cut through the toughest ice cream.The cap on the handle keeps falling out. It's a loose fit and there's a rubber ring that's supposed to keep it in place. Appears to be a design flaw. Might send it back.

Wow this spade is very heavy and slices through ice cream like the old vintage tools.Will built the movie the last one I’ll ever need.
