I recently purchased the Hydrometer Test Kit (Triple Scale Alcohol Tester) for my home brewing projects, and it has proven to be a fantastic tool for testing wines, beers, kombucha, and mead. Just what we needed for blackberry wine!

There was no functionality because it arrived broken. That said, it would not be easy to use, and give bad readings. Found a local brew shop that sells them much cheaper at just under $8, so this set isn't worth the price. This is basically the way Amazon is wanting me to word the review. Those black beads in the photo are the weights that are supposed to be inside the bottom hydrometer.

I ordered this hydrometer for my partner as part of a mead making kit I put together for him. It arrived promplty, not even 36 hours later. I opened it to make sure all was well before I wrapped it & I’m glad I did because somehow the scale was shattered inside the case. The both the shipping & product packaging was perfect & the glass test jar was in tact. I contacted the seller to resolve this issue & they responded within 6 hours or so. They were super great & immediately sent me a new one without having me go through the hassle of sending the broken one back. There ended up being some issues with USPS delivering to my address, but that was no problem. The sellers sent one out, again. Then of course, that happened again so they sent me another one to a different address. The customer service from these guys is amazing. They are super responsive & solved my problems instantly. If you’re looking for a hydrometer, this is the one you want. Quality product & great sellers to back it up. I recommend, 10/10.

Very fragile be careful, my first one came broken but the replacement was perfect and performs with ease

Seems to measure properly. But once I cleaned it and put it back in its package, sliding it down in the package. It shattered, it's very fragile. Not happy with it after using once & it broke.
