Smooth like butter! Cuts well as it should!
Cuts a hole like a butter! so smooth and fast. I learned it the hard way after ruining a couple of my hole saws by using them to cut out a hole through stucco. Now I know so I ordered this and did another job of making a hole through stucco (exterior wall) and it was so smooth and fast! Not sure of the durability just yet, but my first use was so satisfying.

Decent
Haven't really had a chance to use it yet however the little bit I have it seems to work just fine and it is super durable. Definitely appears you will cut through pretty much anything at home when we will need.

Good Quality. Questionable Life
These are exactly how they look. I needed to cut a hole in a granite countertop and these worked. After 3/4 of the hole was cut, It didn’t seem like it was cutting as well as when i started so swapped out to the other one. The second one cutter better. I looked closely at the diamond cutting edge and it looked okay. I didn’t see any diamond missing. Maybe it was getting a little dull. For the price they worked great. If I were a contractor, I would go with a higher quality bit. I did use water and didn’t have much problem getting the hole started. The hole did drill a little oversized. I would buy again if needed to drill a few holes.

Worked like a charm
Bought this to bore holes in the bottom of four ceramic containers I picked up from Goodwill for $12 total. Next thing you know I have four large succulent pots with fabulous 1” drainage holes. The one drill bit I used for all four pots still looked brand new when I was finished, so I can see this set of two bits creating many, many more DIY planters. I followed instructions and started with the bit at an angle to establish an initial groove, then tilted it vertically to bore the entire hole, making sure to rinse the bit in a bowl of cool water every 15 seconds or so. I did have a little trouble getting each hole started until I figured out how to hold the pot in place with one hand while bracing the drill against my body with the other, for more stability. I don’t mind the scrapes left on the bottom of my succulent bowls where the drill bit was skipping around as I figured things out, but if you’re using this to drill tile I highly recommend doing trial runs on pieces of scrap until you get the hang of it.

Very well made. Generous diamond material.
Very well made. Use them for a lot of uses. Scraping excess wood, plastic, metal. Make holes in metal The diamond cuts do not snag and break material. Dip into water if u need to cool the bit. Lasts longer.

They cut through thick granite - but the details are important.
I decided to install an instant hot water dispenser at my house. As shown in the photographs, I had to cut a perfect hole through 1 1/8 inch granite. After watching a few YouTube videos and once I garnered the courage to proceed, I ordered a two pack of these diamond coated bits. As you know: A MISTAKE DRILLING INTO GRANITE COUNTERTOPS IS VERY COSTLY so be sure to really learn the best practices which include: 1) carefully measure your placement of the hole and get a second opinion on the placement - once you drill, you can’t change your mind, 2) use painters tape to cover the area where you’ll be drilling which creates two advantages: the ability to clearly draw a circle exactly where you want to cut and, importantly, to minimize the ‘walking’ or sliding of the bit when you start drilling, 3) start cutting at an angle to make your first small cut and then slowly ease the drill into the vertical position, 4) be sure to keep the bit cool / wet by dripping water in the cut area as you go or dipping the bit into a bowl of water. TYPE OF DRILL: I used a less commercial / standard drill and it required that I change the battery half way through. Also, I ended up using both bits (changing to the second bit about half way through). The cutting was tough and quite tedious, but I was triumphant and had some serious bragging rights afterwards! I’ve done a few handy things around the house but this was a bit more daunting than the average. If i had easy access to a professional for this type of cutting, in retrospect, I would probably have paid to have this done given the how costly a mistake could have been. While the use of tape and the angle cut to start decreases the risk of the blade / bit ‘walking’, the risk is still there. My suggestion: if you’re confident after watching at least 2 YouTube videos, buy these bits and go for it. One final thought: I’m giving these bits 5 stars because they were literally half the price of the ones at Home Depot, because I cannot compare them to more expensive / name brand versions AND because I was successful (saved a few hundred bucks not having to pay a pro). But, I would be singing a different tune if I caused irreparable damage to a $2000 slab of granite. Good product and good price. Confident user not included. ;) — good luck to you.

Used to cut a hole in the bottom of a glass bottle. No issues, it went through well. Easy enough to use of you don't put too much pressure on. Start with an edge first as going for the full bit cause it to skate on the material. One is began to cut you can then work the full edge in.
