Contrary to other reviews, I actually received a version with 2GB RAM. Overall this is a great tablet with great value. My son's previous tablet only had 1GB of RAM, and worked pretty well so I want worried if that's what this one had. But it performs pretty well, for streaming videos and the occasional video game.

Right out of the box this thing was faster than the Kindle it replaced. My kindle was so slow every time I wanted to do anything, so I got a real Android tablet. What a difference. I am greeted by my lockscreen of choice, instead of yet another ad for things I do not want that the kindle uses for the lockscreen unless you pay to have it removed. Webpages open quickly. The screen is nice. The battery life is robust. I can read multiple books prior to charging now versus the kindle that beeped for low battery, seemingly every time I got to the good part in a book. Where the kindle was a pain to charge, it seemed like you had to hold your tongue just right to get it to charge; this tablet plugs in nicely and securely. I am 42, and take good care of my equipment, so I was quite annoyed at the poor quality charging system on the kindle. It is nice to be able to access the Google play store as well. Being tied into the Amazon ecosystem for your app choices may be a good strategy for Amazon to sell their own apps, but that same policy and the bloated operating system convinced me to upgrade to this device. After two months I am still very happy with this, and even more happy at the low price.

Not a fan. Slow with a low res screen. Great for kids and the price is right.

I am very pleased with this tablet so far. The size though slightly heavy is great for viewing video and games. The video quality is beautiful and crisp for my old eyes. The only complaint I have is with the product description when I ordered it. It was listed as having 2 gig of memory but only came with 1 gig. That may be a deal breaker for a lot of people and I hope that has been corrected by now. I added a memory card and this version of Android allowed me to set it up as internal memory so I don't have move apps or data around which is welcome feature. Overall I would recommend this for a casual user like myself for web browsing and e-mail and watching movies. I would have liked front facing speakers but I am still pleased with the sound quality overall.

My first review was 1 star very upset about these tablets being slow and one failed after factory reset and kept dropping the UI interface. I sent it back and got a replacement. I had put 64 gig cards in both as extra HHD space instead of mobile/removable card for pictures and video. I set the new one up as removable and it worked so well I reset the other and now both are working as they should. All those 1 star guys need to reconfigure their memory card because that is making it slow. The seller resolved the replacement with great follow up she needs kudos for her customer service. She made it right all the way around

Tablets are kinda a commodity, right? Unless you're a business using it as a sales device, or a pro photographer with a huge portfolio, or addicted to specific hiFi tablet-only games, consider what you'll use it for. There's a great chance this tablet is all you need for that use. It's big, it's nice to look at, it isn't slow to load pictures (although it's not instant), and it runs your most common apps well enough. I thought the resolution would be a downside for Netflix etc but, no complaints. A tablet is all screen, so it's good that brightness and viewing angles are also good. I think that at this price the tablet is ownable. Tablets seem like a risk to me. I've seen too many broken iPad's and broke 2 android tablets myself.. A bleeding-edge or expensive tablet discourages actually using it. It's BIG too so you feel like you have something much more expensive, without feeling like you need to keep it high on a shelf. I prefer it over Kindle as well for stock Android. Mine came with the advertised amount of ram (2GB) and was $119 at the time, and that definitely pushed me over the edge to getting it. Great product!

Purchased for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. Started out great. About a month into using it, the side of the screen started flashing. It's moved so far into the middle now that the tablet is no longer usable. Filed a warranty claim. Lenovo sent a refurbished unit. That worked well for a few months. There is now a dead spot in the middle of the touch screen preventing the use of many games.

I bought this tablet a year ago for my twelve year old. It worked out so great for him, that we bought another one recently for out 5 year old. It's great! It has excellent parental controls. It had a kids mode for younger kids too. Both kids love the size and sound quality. For the price, you can't ask for anything more!

Simplemente me encantó! Excelente tamaño para leer libros o revistas, excelente calidad de imagen, es rápida, y es muy fácil aprender a usarla. Puedes tener diferentes usuarios y tiene modo niño, es decir, se puede restringir el acceso a ciertas aplicaciones y limitar el uso del dispositivo. Nos gustó tanto, que mi esposo se compró otra igual.

This is all I could ask in a Tablet. The screen size is perfect, actually the largest I've ever seen and used in a Tablet. The performance is fabulous, fast, clear and the sound is excellent. It's easy to set up and start, though the description on Amazon indicates that a cleaning cloth is included, it may not be the case, as it depends on what the manufacturer chooses to include. Otherwise I would say that this is a really, really good Tablet.

Très bonne tablette pour le prix. L'image est belle et on voit comme il faut dans tous les angles, avec 2 gig de ram ça lag pas vraiment. Pour surfer sur le web, streaming, netflix c'est parfait. Pour les jeux les graphiques sont moyen, mais c'est pas trop grave. Batterie bonne. Dans les tablettes en bas de 200$ je crois que c'est le meilleur. Very good tablet for the price. The image is beautiful and we see perfectly in all angles, with 2 gig of ram he does not have lag. To surf the web, streaming, netflix it's perfect. For games the graphics are average, but it's not too bad. Good battery. In tablets down to $200 I think it's pretty much the best.

Recomendada, llevo casi un año con ella y funciona perfecto aun y cuando la usan mis niños pequeños. Importante comprarle funda para mayor durabilidad. En rendimiento es muy aceptable en relacion al costo.

I loved mine so much,. I bought my friend one as well !!!!!!!! I read outside all the time even in the sun. The screen is nice and bright, so easy to see. Love that you can talk to it without having to type. Never seen a device with such a long battery life.
