Purchased for my elderly mother to get in & out of bed. It works very well for her. She was able to put it together and install it herself. It is very supportive, she has no trouble getting in and out of bed with it.

Very sturdy, love the suction cups on feet to make it mire secure regular rubber feet cups are provided also It is easy to get in and out of bed with never removing rail Worth the price , very well made and easy to assemble no extra home tools are needed Part that goes under mattress is very long and never moves, legs on item make it very secure My husband loves it the rubber handle assist is helpful in getting in and out of bed as well as saving person from falling out. I used this after spinal surgery. It was a lifesaver to help me get into and out of bed. Very stable.

Purchased two of these, one for each side of her bed. The OT recommended we remove the box spring, install plywood and use just the mattress to make it lower for ease of access. Unfortunately the original configuration of the device was not configured for this low profile. We eliminated one of the metal pieces installed and added the provided black rubber covers. It is still a bit too high but not noticeable to the patient. I have used these with others and with the original configuration of mattress and box springs it works perfectly. We got it to work with just the mattress but it took some creativity. I would suggest to the manufacturer they consider redesigning this sturdy product to modify the design to fit a lower profile as well. Again, I have used the with other friends with a mattress and box springs with no issue at all. It’s an great product with an excellent price and got it quickly.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

This product was purchased for my 92 year old father in law, it gives us peace of mind knowing that he will not accidently fall out of bed at night, and provides a way for him to pull himself up during his therapy sessions. The instructions are a little vague, however, the unit isn't complicated and between the written instructions and photos, assembly isn't hard.

Straight forward utility. It does what it's supposed to and the adjustable height was really useful. We had to lower mom's bed recently to make it easier for her to get in and out. We just adjusted the height on this to match and avoided having to buy a different one for the lower height.

works well. Have two of them, one in each bedroom. Needed help to put them under the mattress, but they are super helpful transferring from and to wheelchair.
