I am very impressed with this drinking fountain. I have had several others in the past and this one is so quiet. I have had no problems with any vibrating noises coming from it and you can barely hear the sound of trickling water. I am very bothered by noises, and this is barely noticeable at all.I have 4 cats and they all love different parts of this fountain. One drinks from the blue reservoir on the top of the fountain, one likes to drink from the parts that trickle out (like a faucet) and the other 2 like to drink from the bowl itself. I have noticed since we put this out, they are drinking more water and they are not using their other regular water bowls any more. Even our small dog likes drinking from it.It is very easy to take apart to clean and super easy to refill. I have had this for a couple of weeks now and have been very happy overall.The only drawback to this fountain is that the filter needs to be replaced pretty frequently. I have not had to replace mine yet, and I'm hoping that they last longer than the manufacturer recommends, which is only 2-4 weeks.If you've had fountains that are too loud and bothered you, this one might be a better fit for you.UPDATE:I have had this fountain for over 2 months now and I still cannot say enough good things about it. It is still quiet as can be and I cannot believe how much more water my cats and dog are drinking! One of my kitties has urinary tract disease (not an infection) and she needs lots of fluids; this fountain is a god send.I wanted to update because I have tried using this without the filters and I have experienced no problems whatsoever. That being said, it's only been a couple of months. The sponge like "filter" that wraps around the pump in the reservoir that keeps large items from getting through, works very well, but it definitely needs to be replaced. It's starting to become a little discolored. I'm ordering those now.I refill this every day and I take it apart 2-3 times a week to wash with soap and water and it literally only takes about 5 minutes.Well worth the money!!

I already have been using this for 3 years now and still love it, but I purchased another one for a friend a few months ago and it came missing the small piece that goes over the wire of the pump. I emailed the seller and I had two options: return it for an entire replacement or refund OR go ahead and use it without the piece and get $1.99 back for it. Since it was guaranteed to me that it's safe to use without the piece, I opted for the second option. Because of covid-19, mailing things have become such a nuisance and I really wasn't trying to return the whole thing. For some reason they couldn't send me a single replacement piece, which I can guess and understand it's due to inventory stuff. They were really helpful and my friend hasn't had any issues using it without the missing piece. It's been roughly 3 months now.Just a side note though: MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!! I have a feeling most, if not all, of the reviews having to do with it breaking are because people don't clean it properly and as often as needed. It's a little bit of a hassle at first but you do get used to it. Now I can deep clean it (including inside the pump) in under 10 mins. Doing it roughly twice a month for happy, hydrated pets seems 100% worth it to me!

I hav had cats my whole life and never knew this would make that much difference!! Mine always drank from the toilet once it was flushed, out of our cups when we had ice and always waited for us to add ice cubes to their water. As a vet tech I know that cats don't usually drink that much water anyway, and get most of their hyrdration from food, but now they drink water all the time and love this! They no longer drink from the toilet too.At first this was fairly noisy, but i liked the sound, it was like waterfall and had a nice stream coming down. We have changed the filter and cleaned it several times and now it is barely even coming out of the top. Not sure what teh problem is, but it does still work and they still like it even thought he pressure is much much less.

Loved this when it arrived. Easy to assemble, quiet & the cats were very interested, however when we went on vacation the pump died so although they still use it, it's no longer a fountain.

Bought this fountain for a cat that loves to drink from the sink faucet. It took the cats a while to get use to it, but now they use it and it works well. They drink from the top, the water pouring down, and the bowl itself. It holds a lot of water, but the cats drink a lot! Very easy to set up, and runs very quiet. I add Dental Fresh to the water (it may also help keep the water cleaner). I rinse the whole thing off as needed, maybe once a week. Easy to clean. I have no problem with it getting slimey. There are max & min fill lines on the center tube. The faucet cat uses it, but still wants me to turn the faucet on (old cat). Only downside is that it is a little big. i wish it were smaller around and deeper. But I have had no issues with water spilling out; it is stable. Recommend for all cat owners, as cats like their water moving. It eliminates their slapping at the water and making a mess.
