Amazon Essentials Men's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Puffer Vest

Perfect in every way. Awesome fit, perfect weight, incredible zippered pockets and large inside pockets for stashing gloves. Everything about this vest is ideal. The only outstanding question is durability and only time will tell. I bought 3 seperate colors. I wish every item Amazon Essentials put its lablel on was executed to this degree of perfection. If so Amazon Essentials would own the clothing market.

This vest is thin and I was skeptical about how warm it would be. I am pleased to say that it retains body heat well. The temperature today was not above 43°F and I was comfortable with just my flannel shirt and this vest. Being not as bulky as other puffer vest, it will fit well under my coat when the temperatures drop into the 20s and teens. It looks good and is well made, the size fits me well(5'11/ 195).

The was packed tight and flat so all the fill was smooshed .. I'm still trying to fluff it up The fill isn't what you'd call generous. THAT SAID will will easilly do the job The nylon cloth will absorb a little water but barely passes air. Suck or blow on cloth. THUS very windproof .. Ventolation will be through arms. I bought a medium knowing Large would not fit snug . I just barely fit in Med t-shirt It's exactly what I wanted except my body isn't 6'4 that would be the upper limit of length It blocks air . Thus a basic T can be worn down to 50f -- if blocks Wind ,, my core kept warm I visit a nearly 100 year old house that is far too costly to heat and I need something comfortable light and not restrictive . When I go outside I don't get the blast of cold air . Fill being low will change a bit as it fluffs up but it doesn't look like a Puffer.. VERY CHEAP . Nice materials . Zipper is durable enough for calm life. REALLY dark blue so fits into all occasions I'd buy it again at SUMMER PRICES . I'd look at brand names if I used it often .. cared about fashion .. found one that comes in TALL.. So length wasn't 1,5 inches more than ideal WE WILL SEE . . IT's crazy to think people running Nat Gas heating spend $350 / month in not terribly cold place 100 yr house and far too many windows.. it would be silly to complain about colder house ,, colder rooms. - COMPLAIN about NEWSOM TRIPPLING ENERGY COSTS and by DEMANDING everyone got to Electrictity - Climate extinction is a SCAM . Nat GAS IS BEING DELETED in POOR places in LA .. to improve their lives. HUH ? THEY WILL TURN OFF THE MAIN LINES for whole neiborhoods. .. VERY SAD state of the world

We ordered this vest for my husband, who gets too warm wearing a coat when working outside. He loves how it is lightweight, has deep pockets both on the inside and outside, and has a longer length to keep his waist covered. We’re ordering a second one in a different color. Very happy with this vest purchase.

I'm 6' 2"1/2 and this thing is too short for me. It's useable I support but is even shorter in the back. For reference I bought the xl. I'm athletic if build, around 215 pounds. A little more length and maybe I wouldn't need to return. It is a thin vest which I wanted. Good quality otherwise. Buy one at 15-16 short kings

This review is for ladies who are shopping for a basic insulated / quilted vest. Gals - look no further! First of all, it's not frilly, not too puffy, not too long, not too short, and it's not bazillion dollars like most women's clothing. I'm 5'8" and it hits at my upper hip, which is perfect, and since it's not plump on the stuffing, I'm not in competition with a comfortable shirt or cute jewelry to dress it up some. It also doesn't keep me overly warm - its just right!!
