Have only use it a few times but works well

it's super easy to override this lock so it can't be used for heavy security, but I design and run escape style puzzle events and this is exactly what I wanted to throttle clue delivery to a certain time. it is well made, easy to use, and it's cool looking. it builds suspense in a puzzle sequence very well.

Zero stars. Received it yesterday. I charged it overnight. It was on, did a 5 minute test, it worked. I locked it onto my lockbox and the screen went dark. I plugged it in thinking maybe it needed more charge. Nothing. Now my laptop is locked up and I will have to go buy some bolt cutters to get it out.

Update to this review. They are too easy to get into. I just gave them a good shake with a little bit of added frustration and they popped right open. Completely blew my process. I think they should be just a little more secure. They are called locks. I can’t give them great marks if they don’t keep anybody out. These are simple to operate little locks. They do a great job of discouraging misbehavior. The build quality is excellent (it’s not a security device.) It is easy to use and above all it helps me out with something that I was fearful I was not going to find any help with. It feels like a godsend. I have a small quibble with their time adjustment design. It’s not complicated in any way, just a little bit time-consuming.

Solid lock, great timer, and it's a decent size too. The metal loop thin enough to go in most locking mechanisms but very strong. Very worth the buy!

I purchased two of these. They are pretty easy to operate. The instructions have some confusing grammar, but it's written well enough that you can figure out how to operate them. It would be nice if there was a battery indicator that showed how much battery is left instead of it just the numbers being to dim to read when it's really low, but at least it can still function while charging so if you are concerned it could be low, just have the lock charging while it's ticking down.
