Solid choice and looks very premium
I picked up the ZZEW D3 Mini ITX aluminum case to recycle my trusty AM4 platform into a compact powerhouse, and it's been a fantastic choice, especially with DDR4 and DDR5 RAM prices going absolutely insane in early 2026. The case is beautifully made with a thick aluminum alloy (2mm) exterior, a premium anodized finish and minimal flex. At sub 15L (353x167x250mm), it's surprisingly roomy for a Mini-ITX build, complete with a detachable carry handle for easy portability. My build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900XT (16 cores/32 threads—still crushes everything in 2026) Motherboard: old MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC (Mini-ITX) Cooler: 135mm tower air cooler (fits with plenty of clearance) PSU: 700w Modular SFX (super clean cable routing, but the case supports up to 140mm ATX PSUs no problem with modular cables) Cooling performance is impressive for such a small case. Not near a full atx build but the vented panels help keep my 5900XT running cool under heavy loads, no throttling during long gaming or rendering sessions. Airflow is solid right out of the box with a rear+side fan configuration. Cable management was easy enough for a SFF system. No windows so no need to be my normal OCD cabling self. With RAM prices exploding due to the ongoing memory shortage (DDR5 kits are through the roof, and even DDR4 has spiked hard), reusing my AM4 setup with existing DDR4 saved me a fortune compared to jumping to a new platform. This case made the "recycle and upgrade" approach feel premium and future-proof for years to come. If you're sitting on AM4 gear or want a durable, high-compatibility aluminum ITX case that handles tall tower coolers and big GPUs effortlessly, the ZZEW D3 is a winner. Highly recommended!

Great design, meh quality
I needed a super small case that will fit behind my monitors. I really liked the layout of this case. Building in this case was pretty easy. Cable management wasn’t bad with a modular PSU. I don’t have a graphics card installed, but I have space for a ~10” length card. I also do not have SSD/HDD, but there is still plenty of space. 2x 120mm fans fit snugly on the top, with room in the rear and bottom for more. Plenty of airflow with all the holes, but dust will probably be a problem eventually. Overall build quality is okay. My giant PSU is a little wobbly on the bracket. The case metal is okay and would probably dent easily. Glass seems very nice quality, although I would have liked rubber rings protecting the glass from the screws. It came with enough screws for everything (only 4 fan screws tho). Power button is pretty cheap feeling, but I can easily change it out with any round momentary switch (I think it’s 11-12mm hole). Specs: Mobo: Micro ATX Asus Tuf A520M Plus CPU: AMD 5500G (stock cooler) PSU: Corsair RM550x (160mm!!) Fans: 2x Be Quite Wings 2 120mm Storage: Crucial M.2 2280 Ram: 2x 8G Corsair Vengeance

Perfect materials
Haven't even built in it yet but I had to get on here and spread the word - it's every bit as Mac Pro as the pictures make it seem. Awesome, thick and and heavy build quality. Imagine the MCPRUE cases just slightly less build quality. Maybe. I don't even know since the MCPRUEs are not affordable at all and this is. Very happy! Get in before Apple kills the real Pro this is based on (

An elegant small silver case. Compact, good for daily use/office/design.
Before everything, I have to say that, for this case, the exhaust fan on top is very important for the case airflow. I'm pretty sure that they didn't mention that the slot only fits in a SLIM 80/90 fan, which is only 14 mm thick, rather than the normal 25 mm one. Please don't buy the wrong size. Pros: -Very small, and very compact. And this is why I choose it as my office PC case. I can use it without drawing the notice of anyone. -Very easy to change GPU. The MB and CPU is installed on the front chamber, and it uses a gpu riser cable to put gpu on the back chamber. Cons: -Very noisy and pretty hot. Apparently, this case really lacks airflow and relies heavily on the top exhaust 90(max, slim) fan and the intake fan of CPU box cooler and GPU cooler. I feel hilarious when I type these words. The CPU easily goes to 90+ degree with heavy load. My Silver Ninja build: MB: MSI H510I PRO WIFI LGA 1200 CPU: Intel i7-11700F, TDP 65W, yet easily goes to 170W when turbo. CPU cooler: Noctua NH-L9i Fan: Noctua NF-A9x14 Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 3200MHz PSU: SilverStone Technology 350 Watt Flex ATX Power Supply SSD: SAMSUNG 980 SSD 500GB GPU: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1650 OC 4GB GDDR6 Using experience: Not gonna lie, the airflow and cooling for this case is really a problem. When I didn't limit the power consumption of my i7-11700F, it easily eats 170W, and goes to 100 degrees in one minutes. The PC is shouting like beast. When I locked the CPU power to 110W, it stables at 4100MHz and around 85 degrees. Luckily, most of my using case (Fusion 360, Final Fantasy 14), the CPU usage a pretty low since it is a beast cpu and processes everything with lightning speed. Idle temp is less than 50 degree. For other parts, since I didn't buy a module PSU that allows you to add or reduce cables, I just cut off all the unused cables, or it would be a nightmare for putting every cable in this case. I also cut off the PCIE power cable and let the GPU eat power from motherboard. A low power 70W gpu 1650 does really fit all my use case. Conclusion: This case is really unique and useable. The size that small enough to be easily put in a backpack maybe be a great choice factor for someone like me. Admittedly, there's some problems for it, so you really need to decide if you want to sacrifice those for the small size.

As pictured, one of the motherboard standoffs (in the top-right hand corner spot for an mATX board) snapped off during the build. Fortunately with the other standoffs intact I’m content that everything is secure enough. Tighten carefully and beware of that potential vulnerability. Further quality note: the screw holes in the case for attaching the tempered glass side panel (which is quite nice) aren’t tapped shallow enough for the included thumbscrews. The included M3x6mm thumbscrews couldn’t find purchase in two of the four corner holes, so I replaced the set with 8mm thumbscrews and now they all tighten up nicely. It’s a shame - the included screws have a nice narrow head and Phillips threading, which shouldn’t really be important on a thumbscrew but is nice to have anyway. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter how nice the bolt is, if it doesn’t fit. Otherwise everything seems solid and well thought out for getting a decent amount of full-size hardware into a compact case. Came packaged with pre-cut dust filters with adhesive strips for the top and bottom panels (and an extra), and one for the rear exhaust. Also includes a bevy of other bits and bobs (ie. rear slot covers, pictured) to complete your build.

We were able to fit an i9 intel in there AND an external video card, had to put in an efficient fan, but the result was incredibly impressive.

case is pretty decent quality nothing super fantastic but not terrible either. Full size power supply is kind of tight fit especially if its not modular and you have to pay attention to what order you do things. The USB port on the front was very stiff and I had to really push hard to get my device to seat in properly and connect. Over all I'm happy with the case as the size is exactly what i wanted with my M-ATX motherboard and a full size ATX PSU
