Works as Expected
Bought for my mother. She needs it to time her washing machine which does not buzz when it has finished. I works as expected. She is happy with it.

Good timer
I bought this for the sole purpose of timing my laundry spinner; it has no automatic shut off but shouldn’t be run for more than 5 minutes at a time. I don’t want to stand and babysit it so I bought this timer. It is a countdown type with an alarm at the end. Works great! My only complaint is that once you turn it on, it does not shut off. When I’m done with laundry for the day, I end up opening the battery compartment and disengaging the battery and then re-engaging the battery the next time I use it.

Not loud enough
Took off 2 stars because I can barely hear it hanging around my neck. Easy to set and use.

Disasterous timer product
I purchased two of these and both have the same issues. There are 2 sets of issues: design & nonfunctionality. Design: There is no on/off switch - you remove or insert the battery (there is magnet on back to hold the battery). To show the minutes you want you have to punch a button that many times. Nonfunctionality: The battery compartment is sloppy and does not hold the battery in position so the timer will work. Further, the battery gets super-hot. That's right, upon removing the battery after about 3 minutes of struggling to get the units to work, the batteries were too hot to handle without burning yourself.

Beware the battery cover!
Accurate, easy to use, and quick delivery... what's not to love? Only one problem... this is the 3rd timer I've bought, not because it died a premature death, but because, through my almost constant use of it hanging from my neck, it was easy to somehow loosen the battery cover and lose both cover and battery. Thus, since I depend on it to keep me on task, I had to get it again, but THIS time, I'm making sure I won't lose any more covers nor batteries. I simply taped the battery cover shut with some duck tape. That should solve the problem, at least 'till the battery is spent.

It's about time!Fantastic
I use timers regularly. I needed one that I could carry without accidentally hitting the buttons and so I wouldn’t be too far out of range to hear it. The lanyard is very long and there is a magnet on the back that sticks to the refrigerator door or maybe vent hood. It’s loud so it would be hard to miss even if left somewhere nearby. It will time up to 97 minutes and you can choose minutes or seconds. I sometimes slip it into my shirt so it doesn’t dangle if I am cooking or working near something it might get caught on. I can’t say enough about this timer. I might get one for another room or my car.
