Awesome for Classic Jam Sessions 😁
This is a fantastic little Walkman style cassette tape player. The playback quality is great, very little skip rate. It's very easy to use with the buttons on top. Well worth every penny. I was expecting this little baby on Friday and was pleasantly surprised that it came earlier. Aforementioned in my title it truly is Awesome for Classic Jam Sessions 😁

Love it
Love the portable tape player. Ilove playing some of my old tapes and converting it to digital on my computer with my soundboard

Do yourself a favor, choose another tape deck
If your answer is yes to any of these questions then you should not buy this and instead choose a different brand:Q1: Are you looking to use this to record onto cassette tapes?Q2: Are you expecting to listen to sound on this device?Q3: Do you expect this device to have stereo sound and recording?Q4: When the description talks about a niche 4.5v barrel plug power cable, do you expect that cable to come with the device you paid for?Main points:1. For the same price as all the other tape decks on Amazon, this one has 0 features, and what it offers sucks.2. It offers playback, which you can hear the tape whirring away through the speaker, and it's MONO sound like what the heck??3. It offers recording (if you can call it that) through a mic or plug in, the sound again... IS MONO which is horrible and distorts any sort of prerecorded sounds, and voice recording is also a nightmare.4. Onto the features it doesn't offer:1. Within 10$ of this price you can find another deck with all the following features2. AM/FM radio & extendable antenna3. STEREO SOUND for pete's sake, the only people buying these are those that WANT TO LISTEN TO THINGS. This thing is unbearable, it's not nostalgic, it's not quirky it's unbearable!4. Auto rewind at the end of the tape, not a deal breaker just a convenience that many other decks have5. Track seeking to skip between songs by detecting the pauses, again not a deal breaker but there are some cheap decks out there with this amazing feature.Just stop and ask yourself the questions I wrote at the beginning, and then go buy a different cassette player.

Bad sound quality
Sound quality when recording is awful, but I had an old tape from my talk girl from way back when and it played perfectly. Wasn't as loud as I had hoped. But it did give me those memories I hadn't heard in 20 years.

Small, lightweight, inexpensive, fully functional
This compact cassette player fit by purposes perfectly. The item is small, lightweight, and runs on just two AA batteries. It is beautifully simple as an old school cassette player should be. The built in speaker allows me to listen without headphones and it weighs next to nothing for easy portability. So far the durability and quality are excellent.

A Tough Call (Edited title)
I want so much to love this little player…Surface level; the build quality is impressive for a sub $20 player. Super easy and straightforward to use. The buttons feel solid and functional, and loading tapes is rather satisfying. The small speaker puts out expected, but tolerable sound. It’s perfect for “background noise”.However, regarding playability; when playing authentic, or, vintage cassettes, this player’s success rate is about 50/50. Tapes that play perfectly fine in other players sound either sped up or slowed down when played in this player.Let it be noted that I’ve had no issue playing any recorded tapes, or, “mixes”. So, if your collection consists of nothing but, say, Maxells, then you may be perfectly fine with this player.Or perhaps you’d like a cheap little rewinder that has a few “bonuses”? This could do.I’m not the “leave a review” type, but I am hoping this one may help somebody. No robot here. Real brains. Maybe just not the best.EDIT: I’m getting older, and so are my tapes. I should’ve gave it a bit more time, but, it’s a decent enough little player if your tapes aren’t wearing out. The vale IS there.

Cassette works clear and crisp.
Cassette players aren’t readily available in stores. Found a book series on cassette when I was purging packing and unpacking. Listening to the book series now. Very good quality. Thank you.
