Liquorice indigestion tablets
These do work and are not too unpleasant. Very good price and a good alternative to other antacids. One normally does the trick but on rare occasions two may be required. 😊

Good for acid reflux, taste not great
I got these for acid reflux. Taking before meals definitely minimisees symptoms, although I needed two tablets. The taste is not great, but if you like liquorice, it's bearable. The price is also good compared to similar products. I also tried some Holland and Barrett ones and the effect was similar, although I only needed one h & b tablet. The h & b ones actually tasted quite pleasant too, although were considerably more expensive. Both contained sweetners. Turns out what they remove in dgl liquorice is the chemical that makes liquorice sweet. So it makes sense why they add sweetners back. All in all these are effective and cheap. As long as you can put up with the flavour!

Just OK
I don't like how these tablets deteriorate over time. I put them in a 7-day tablet container and, by the time I get to the seventh day, they have gone slightly brown in colour. The taste isn't really to my liking also - I prefer the Holland & Barrett equivalent.

My usual brand has discontinued on Amazon, so I tried these and didn't see the small note stating these contain artificial sweetener, which is actually listed top of the ingredients list - it's this that is causing the really bad taste - going straight in the bin. These didn't work either.
