Too many abbreviations
It would save a lot of time if they put full words instead of just abbreviations. Especially when they are describing the role of the abbreviated molecule itself. For example, page 212, Wound healing, when they are describing tissue mediators, they don't put the name of the 6 tissue mediators they are describing, so one has to stop reading to go and look for the full names. I guess the page is more aesthetic with just the abbreviations, but don't forget the point of the book is to facilitate learning. Other than that, great quality.

Passed both STEP 1 and Level 1 with this book
I have tried both the Physical Book and FIRST AID FORWARD, and they are both good for different reasons. While online resources have the advantage of quickly finding topics, there is something special about flipping through the pages of a physical book that helps to instill the content in your memory. The most important thing is the content, and this book is the most comprehensive. My suggestion is to use different-colored pens to take notes from different resources early on, starting from day 1 of medical school. Additionally, I would recommend supplementing your study with Anki. Trust the process.
