A life saver. I attached this next to my teardrop trailer and it was awesome! The was easy room for 4 adults in decent size camp chairs and room to spare. A little awkward for one person to put together, but doable. Easy to get back into bag. I love that all of the straps/ties are attached to the cover itself. A single section of the pole cracked so I'll reach out to Kelty. Still a 10/10

The media could not be loaded. I own all three versions of this Kelty Shelter and by far, this one is made the best. I utilize this on the rear of my CRV as a kitchen. The material is on a total different level and more durable and water proof. Beautiful copper colored aluminum poles and seam sealed with some pockets on the inside. I use a mosquito need thrown over it when the bugs are bad. Keeps them at bay while letting in the breeze.During several hours rain I did notice the lights that I had hanging on the tabs from the ceiling were wet. I assume it is from the tabs being sewn in and didn't get a good seam seal. Next time I set it up, I will dab that area with some seam sealer and the problem should be solved. However, that isn't a deal breaker and very minor problem if you would even call it that. This storm had some rough wind and the Highroads handled it like a champ. I take the time to stake it down and use the guy lines. Camping in Kansas the winds can be sneaky and weather predictions aren't always accurate. Had I been under one of the shelters with the fiberglass poles I fear they might have "given up the ghost" so to speak. I did see several tents in the trash when I left the campground and dumped my trash....LOL. All in all, this shelter does what it was designed to do. People unfairly try to call it a tent, which it is not. It's worth the money I spent on it. The only improvement I could suggest would be for Kelty to figure out how to add some grommets on each corner where it attaches to the car so that you could use an awning pole to make it free standing for the shorter vehicles or for when you want to drive away. I improvised by attaching some poles to each side of my CRV to lift it a little higher. That made a big difference in the over all feel under it. My CRV is shorter in the rear.The price does fluctuate here on Amazon, and I waited for a sale price. Seems the sale prices coincide with when the Mfg has a sale as well. I certainly would purchase it again.

I wanted something for my teardrop camper for when its raining that I could put up myself and would have a decent change of holding up in wind gusts. I've used this a few times off the back of the teardrop/ kitchen galley and I like how versatile it is. Shade/ wind/ rain it has me covered. Doesn't provide a lot of space but I was only trying satisfy my needs of being able to cook when its raining / windy out. The sides go up or down so I can open everything up if I only just need protection from the top. Super easy to set up, after the first time I think it only took me less than 10 minutes to set up myself. Product quality feels well made and I like the system that Kelty uses for fastenings and the bag to put everything back in. All depends on your needs and how much space you want but if this type of item looks like it might work, I'd suggest it. Pretty cool concept.

This is easy to assemble by myself, gives you plenty of room, love the back door and window for privacy but also protection from the elements, the sides when extended and staked provides even more protection and room. I actually McGiver it and connected to my Gazelle tent giving me an ample vestibule where I can hang outside in mild rain and not get water in the tent when I open the door, that way my SUV is free to go and come as I please. The bag is roomy so you don’t have to fight it to get it back in. My only worry is that when you’re by yourself you drag the bottom to place it correctly and however little that is it might eventually wear out.UPDATEAs previously explained I mainly use this attached to my Gazelle tent to add a vestibule, well I left campground to get supplies and to my surprise even though I had absolutely no food a bear got curious enough to get inside, since they can’t open zippers (lol) my Kelty got destroyed by its weight, seems he stood on the walls and broke the poles, thankfully not finding any food it left my tent untouched. I like this so much I just had to accept the situation which was a first in 40 years of tent camping and went ahead and bought another one but now when I leave camp I’ll leave the door open so they can come in and out “inspecting” for the nonexistent food and leave without damage, see if that works since I mostly camp in bear country. Totally worth to replace specially when raining giving me a dry outdoor place to enjoy my coffee keeping me dry.

Versatile piece of camping equipment, fits perfectly off the back of my camper van. Easy setup and take down, folds up small. The only negative is that it did leak slightly around the door zipper. Wish Kelty would fix this problem!

The media could not be loaded. I have a 2021 Nucamp Tab 320 Boondock and this is by far the best quality and price for rain/sun protection. Exactly what I wanted!! It is a little difficult to set up solo but 2 people super simple. Definitely recommend for all you boondockers!!
